Je présenterai aussi le chemin qui a été parcouru lors de la confection du corpus. Dans un deuxième temps, un aspect particulier du corpus, l'épenthèse de schwa, fera l'objet d'une exploitation théorique.Le premier objectif sera l’occasion de développer quelques points intéressants parmi lesquels la (...) question non anodine du choix des informateurs, connexe à la marginalité des données considérées, et la question de l’influence du cadre théorique sur la collecte de données. Der Autor folgt der Hypothese, dass Husserls Denken der Krisis auf den folgenden Bezug gebaut ist: einerseits beeinflusst die Lebenswelt als Fluss die Art der Wissenschaft, die das Subjekt von ihr haben kann, andererseits beansprucht die transzendentale Subjektivitat die Relativierung der ganzen Lebenswelt. Der Fluss und das Bewusstsein werden Metaphern dieses Bezuges, indem sie die Paradoxien des Weltratsels ausdrucken. Aus der Moglichkeit, die Welt als wirkliche Lebenswelt zu denken, erscheint die Phanomenologie der Lebenswelt als eine Umwalzung des Rationalismus zu einem (...) Relationismus. (shrink)

Yugoslavya Sosyalist Federal Cumhuriyeti milliyetçiliğe karşı yapılan büyük mücadele sonucunda kuruldu. Fakat 1980 sonrasında Yugoslavya’da milliyetçi hareketler ve milliyetçi siyasetçiler yeniden yükselişe geçtiler. Bunun sonucunda 1990’ların başında Hırvatistan, Slovenya, Makedonya ve Bosna-Hersek Yugoslavya’dan bağımsızlıklarını ilan ettiler. Böylece Yugoslavya 1990’ların başında parçalanıp yıkıldı. Yugoslavya genelinde gelişen tüm milliyetçi hareketler Yugoslavya’nın yıkılmasında/parçalanmasında şu veya bu düzeyde etkili oldu. Bu makale kapsamında “Yugoslavya’nın yıkılışında Hırvat milliyetçiliğinin rolü/etkisi” analiz edilmiştir. Bu amaçla makalede sırasıyla “Hırvat Baharı”, “Franjo Tudjman liderliğinde Hırvat milliyetçiliğinin yükselişi” ve “Hırvat irredentizmi” (...) incelenmiştir. (shrink)

In der Rekonstruktion zentraler Gedanken beschranke ich mich auf die Philosophie des Organischen. Zunachst fuhre ich in Jonas' Stufenfolge des organischen Lebens und die "hochste" Stufe--d.i. seine Bestimmung des Menschen--ein und erganze diese Bestimmung; sodann rekapituliere ich seine Lesart der Stufen des Organischen uber die Stufe des einfachen Organismus bis zum hochentwickelten Tier unter Einbeziehung von moglichen naturwissenschaftlichen Einwanden. Endlich erortere ich Jonas' phanomenologisches Verstehen der Evolution "vom Hochsten aus" und konfrontiere es mit einer evolutionstheoretischen "Erklarung von unten" am Beispiel (...) einer evolutionstheoretischen Erklarung "von unten", die Wolf Singer in seiner neurophysiologisch-evolutionistischen Erklarung des menschlichen "Bewusstseins" aus Elementen, Strukturen und Funktionen des Gehirns vorgeschlagen hat. The features of temporal discourse are investigated through an analysis of temporal indexicals ("now," "then") and their analogues (tenses). temporal indexicals offer an interesting view on the behavior of indexicals in general. they form a system, which is characterized not only by considerable complexity in the mechanisms of reference, but also by an intricate web of relations between "temporal perspectives" commonly associated with their use. it is argued that the complexity of perspectival relations is, nevertheless, coped with successfully in communication, (...) thanks to some strong internal (logical) and external (physical) constraints, which enable the speaker and the hearer to communicate successfully. S'appuyant sur l'analyse historique des relations entre la France et le Royaume des Serbes, Croates et Slov?nes/Yougoslavie apr?s la Premi?re Guerre mondiale, l'auteur traite de l'application des d?cisions du trait? de Versailles en mati?re?conomique et financi?re, et montre comment elle pesa sur les relations, non seulement entre les Alli?s et leurs anciens ennemis, mais aussi entre les Alli?s eux-m?mes. Il conclut que la mise en place d'un ordre juste d?pendait de tout un ensemble de solutions concr?tes que les faiblesses du (...) nouveau syst?me international, r?v?l?es d?s sa naissance, rendaient difficiles? trouver.. Na osnovu analize jednog primera iz istorije medjunarodnih odnosa, autor se bavi problemom primene ekonomskih i finansijskih odredaba Versajskog mirovnog ugovora, odredaba koje su u periodu izmedju dva svetska rata opterecivale odnose ne samo saveznika sa bivsim neprijateljima vec su se odrazavale i na odnose medju saveznicima. Autor zakljucuje da je sprovodjenje pravde posle Prvog svetskog rata zavisilo od citavog niza konkretnih resenja unutar novog medjunarodnog sistema koji je pokazivao slabosti od trenutka njegovog nastanka. Der Aufsatz versucht, durch eine Gegenuberstellung verschiedener Ansichten uber die Entsteheng der Kunst einen neuen Zugang zum Denkansatz Croces zu gewinnen. Seine Philosophie des Geistes als eine Abwandlung des Hegelschen Erbes wird mit der proklamiert materialistischen Abwandlung bei Adorno verglichen, die beiden philosophischen Standpunkte wiederum mit Hegels eher feindlichen Positionen, wobei es sich zeigt, dass in Fragen der Kunst unerwartete Verbundnisse auftreten. Croces Begriff der Intuition bringt Schwierigkeiten auf dem Gebiet der Kreativitat und Imagination, ist aber noch immer ein grossartiger (...) antireduktionistischer Ansatz. (shrink)

In diesem Aufsatz mochte die Autorin den Einstieg in ein neues Forschungsfeld mit dem Namen "Affektlogik" beginnen, dessen Begrunder, Luc Ciompi, den hohen Stellenwert seiner "Hypothese" fur das interdisziplinare Gesprach von Psychologie bzw. Psychiatrie, Neurobiologie, Politik, Philosophie und -- von Ciompi ausdrucklich in diesem Zusammenhang genannt -- der Wissenschaftstheorie entdeckt. (edited).

In seinem Aufsatz hebt der Verfasser hervor, dass Croces Asthetik weltweit eines der einflussreichsten Kulturphanomene war, was nicht nur fur die erste Halfte des 20. Jahrhunderts gilt, sondern ebenso fur spatere Reflexe und Erganzungen in der zweiten Jahrhunderthalfte. Die Crocerezeption in Kroatien in der ersten Halfte unserers Jahrhunderts geht in erster Linie auf Mihovil Kombols ganzlich croceanisch begrundetets Werk "Poviject hrvatske knjizevnosti do preporoda" (Geschichte der kroatischen Literatur bis zur Wiedergeburtsbewegung, 1945) zuruck, ferner auf den eher soziologistischen Zugang zur Literatur (...) von Antun Barac, ist zum uberwiegenden Teil aber Albert Haler als einem der grossten Propagatoren der croceanischen Philosophie zu verdanken. Bei vorliegender Arbeit geht es um die Erorterung der phanomenologischen Neuorientierung von Bernhard Waldenfels. Der Verfasser versucht aufzuzeigen, dass Bernhard Waldenfels dem Weg der Phanomenologie sehr beharrlich folgt. Seine Phanomenologie spricht uber die Mannigfaltigkeit der Vernunft, uber ihre Verwurzelung in der Sphare der Empfindlichkeit und der lebendigen Leiblichkeit, die sich gerade vermoge dieser Bedeutungsmannigfaltigkeit verbreitet und vertieft. Waldenfels entwirft die Phanomenologie als die "Phanomenologie des Anderen und Fremden", aber jenseits der Subjektivitatsmetaphysik.

Mit der Einsicht in die Bezogenheit der Frage nach der Wahrheit uber die Wirklichkeit auf die Frage nach dem Masstab des richtigen Handelns tritt die antike Philosophie in ihre klassische Peride ein. Die das richtige Handeln betreffende Frage impliziert ein weiteres Problem, namlich in welcher Weise sich der denkende und haldende Mensch auf sich selbst zuruckbeziehen kann. Denn derartige Fragen erschopen sich nicht darin, bestimmte Gegenstande zu intendieren. Sie beziehen sich immer auf den Fragenden zuruck. Fur das Handeln selbst ist (...) es nicht ohne Belang, wie es von einem BewuBtsein intendiert wird. Kein Staat ist existenzfahig, wenn er sich nicht auf irgendein Bewusstsein stutzt, das ihn intendiert. Da man von richtigem und falschem Bewusstsein spricht, mussen wir die grundsatzliche Frage stellen, ob das Wissen um das richtige Handeln einen bivalenten Geltungsanspruch erhebt. (edited). (shrink)

In this paper the author discusses some problems concerning the relationship between contemporary tendencies in Marxism and theology of liberation.

The paper is a critical examination of the main attempts at a reconciliation of the two theories of legal punishment: the utilitarian and the retributive. four middle-of-the-road theories of punishment are discussed with hart's theory offering a genuine synthesis of two approaches (negative retribution and positive retribution). Der ungarische philosoph gyorgy lukacs war zu beginn dieses jahrhunderts mit seinem prozess der aneignung des marxismus wegbereitrter in eine der bedeutendsten und produktivsten perioden der renaissance des marxismus. aus seinem marxistischen lebenswerk tritt auch sein versuch der vermittlung von einheit der theorie und praxis im marxistischen denken klar zutage. der artikel weist nachdrucklich auf diese dimension seines denkens im kontext seiner vermittlung der klassenbewusstseins. In den thesen wird von der identitat des marxismus als von der grundlage seiner kennbarkeit in der gegenwartigen sozialtheorie, philosophie und der sozialen wirklichkeit diskutiert. in gegensatz zu den stellungnahmen in den heutigen diskussionen von der krise des marxismus wird hier ein krisencharakter des marxismus selbst festgestellt, den man schon in werk von marx finden kann der aber erst recht im marxismus erscheint. darunter wird ein nichteindeutiges verhaltnis zwischen einigen theoretischen und praktischen aspekten dieser konzeption verstanden. dieser charakter wird durch (...) die fragmentrische artikulation und verwirklichung dieser konzeption noch zugespitzt. das nennt der verfasser die historisierung des marxismus. die konzeption von marx und des marxismus ist ein bedrohtes projekt oder entwurf, der durch die immer allgemeinere rezeption in der gegenwart konstituiert wird. der verfasser pladiert fur ein freies verhaltnis zum werk von marx, weil man nur so der verwirklichung seiner gedanken beitragen kann. This article analyzes the fundamental aesthetic views of two major representatives of European culture, the Croation Juraj Krizanic and the Moldavian Nicolai Spatarul, who worked in Russia in the second half of the 17th century, and who through their works made it possible for Russian culture of the time to adopt the ideas of Western European aesthetics. Various theories of liberation and release in Indian philosophies have often been understood as proclaiming a fixed threshold of ultimate freedom，to be attained by some yoga-technique. The author argues that there is no such thing either within Buddhism or within Brahmanism：the goal to be reached for is perpetually shifting, even beyond the unspeakable of the mystic. Wenn die fuhrende "paradigmatische" Philosophie Voraussetzungen wie die der Spaltung der Wirklichkeit in sich schliesst und wenn diese Philosophie empirisch die absolut leere -- ohne jede Moglichkeit der wissenschaftlichen Untersuchung --ist, so ist auch die Behauptung der Unmoglichkeit des Irrefuhrens und der Uberflussigkeit solcher Philosophie sinnvoll. Wenn aber auch die bedeutendste Kritik dieses paradigmatischen Rahmens eine Schwache zeigt, ist auf das Bedurfnis einer "Verweigerung" zu schliessen. Darum bedarf es einer Redefinition des Begriffs des aprioristischen Wissens. "A priori" bezeichnet in diesem (...) Sinne die Beschaftigung mit Wissen, das von den Objekten der empfindlich vernehmbaren Welt absolut unabhangig ist. In Ubereinstimmung mit dieser Definition ist das Verstandnis der Mathematik als der Art des aprioren Wissens moglich, oder epistemologisch gesagt: unter der Aktualitat der erreichten mathematischen Moglichkeit. Pagan solar and fire metaphors, which Christianity accepts and modifies and which are frequent in the early literature of the Serbs and Bulgarians, experience very wide use in the 14th and 15th centuries, i.e., in the period when Hesychasm (Palamism) becomes a peculiar poetics of the early Renaissance. With the Hesychasts antique solar metaphors acquire a new poetic-religious semantics. For the Hesychasts light becomes a postulate of philosophy and aesthetics. From the Bible, liturgy and early literature the given metaphors also (...) pass into oral folk creation, into the living conversational language, and into numerous personal names, surnames and toponyms where they survive to the present day with a somewhat altered poetic semantics. In a book that challenges the most widely held ideas of why individuals engage in collective conflict, Russell Hardin offers a timely, crucial explanation of group action in its most destructive forms. Contrary to those observers who attribute group violence to irrationality, primordial instinct, or complex psychology, Hardin uncovers a systematic exploitation of self-interest in the underpinnings of group identification and collective violence. Using examples from Mafia vendettas to ethnic violence in places such as Bosnia and Rwanda, he describes the (...) social and economic circumstances that set this violence into motion. Hardin explains why hatred alone does not necessarily start wars but how leaders cultivate it to mobilize their people. He also reveals the thinking behind the preemptive strikes that contribute to much of the violence between groups, identifies the dangers of "particularist" communitarianism, and argues for government structures to prevent any ethnic or other group from having too much sway. Exploring conflict between groups such as Serbs and Croats, Hutu and Tutsi, Northern Irish Catholics and Protestants, Hardin vividly illustrates the danger that arises when individual and group interests merge. In these examples, groups of people have been governed by movements that managed to reflect their members' personal interests--mainly by striving for political and economic advances at the expense of other groups and by closing themselves off from society at large. The author concludes that we make a better and safer world if we design our social institutions to facilitate individual efforts to achieve personal goals than if we concentrate on the ethnic political makeup of our respective societies. Leibniz’s main thesis regarding the nature of space is that space is relational. This means that space is not an independent object or existent in itself, but rather a set of relations between objects existing at the same time. The reality of space, therefore, is derived from objects and their relations. For Leibniz and his successors, this view of space was intimately connected with the understanding of the composite nature of material objects. The nature of the relation between space and (...) matter was crucial to the conceptualization of both space and matter. In this paper, I discuss Leibniz’s account of relational space and examine its novel elaborations by two of his successors, namely, the young Immanuel Kant and the Croat natural philosopher Roger Boscovich. Kant’s and Boscovich’s studies of Leibniz’s account lead them to original versions of the relational view of space. Thus, Leibniz’s relational space proved to be a philosophically fruitful notion, as it yielded bold and intriguing attempts to decipher the nature of space and was a key part in innovative scientific ideas. Défini comme l’une des parties du discours traditionnelles, l’article, « l’un des instruments odieux de notre grammaire » (Alexis François, La grammaire du purisme et l’académie française au 18ème siècle, Paris, Société Nouvelle de Librairie et d’Édition, p. 70) crée une véritable ligne de démarcation pour le phénomène langagier en tant qu’il divise les langues en deux catégories distinctes : langues avec article et langues sans article. Au-delà de la technicité grammaticale que créent le système d’article et l’absence d’article au (...) sein du groupe nominal, cette étude permet de repenser la nécessité noologique et phénoménologique de cette classe de mot bien particulière. Il convient donc de s’interroger sur l’absence d’article dans des langues avec article (français, allemand, anglais, italien, macédonien, etc.) et sur l’« absence de tout » dans des langues sans article (croate, serbe, russe, turc, etc.). Au sein des langues dépourvues de tout système d’articles, un déterminant d'origine numérale s'apparente à l'article et, ce faisant, s'approprie une valeur d'adjectif indéfini : « (un) certain ». Les deux cas de figure ou, mieux encore, les deux voies qu'empruntent les langues concernées permettent d'enrichir le tenseur binaire en psychomécanique du langage, notamment en y ajoutant des extensités médianes, non réductibles à la traditionnelle échelle « article défini » - « article indéfini » – « article zéro ». Le texte part du fait que Nicolas de Cues ainsi que Franciscus Patricius , philosophe croate du XVIe siècle, font partie d’un courant de penseurs de la Renaissance ayant défendu l’hypothèse de l’infini de l’univers. Il est intéressant de voir comment, malgré ce point de départ commun, leurs théories sur la position de la Terre dans l’univers divergent. Si pour Nicolas de Cues, la Terre est une « stella nobilis », c’est-à-dire une étoile noble, Petrić la considère comme « (...) faex omnium rerum », déjection de toutes choses. The central question of this conference is whether the media can contribute to high quality social dialogue. The prospects for resolving that question positively in the “sound and fury” depend on recovering the idea of truth. At present the news media are lurching along from one crisis to another with an empty centre. We need to articulate a believable concept of truth as communication's master principle. As the norm of healing is to medicine, justice to politics, critical thinking to education, (...) craftsmanship to engineering, and stewardship to business, so truth-telling is the news profession's occupational norm. Truth-telling is the ethical framework that fundamentally reorders the media's professional culture and enables them to enrich social dialogue rather than undermine it.Historically the mainstream press has defined itself in terms of an objectivist worldview. Centred on human rationality and armed with the scientific method, the facts in news have been said to mirror reality. The aim has been true and incontrovertible accounts of a domain separate from human consciousness. In Bertrand Russell's formula, “truth consists in some form of correspondence between belief and fact” . In the received view, truth is defined in elementary epistemological terms as accurate representation. News corresponds to context-free neutral algorithms, and ethics is equated with impartiality.The attacks on this misguided view of human knowledge had already originated in Giambattista Vico's fantasia and Wilhelm Dilthey's verstehen in the counter-Enlightenment of the 18th century. They have continued with hermeneutics, critical theory in the Frankfurt School, American pragmatism, Wittgenstein's linguistic philosophy, Gramsci, and in their own way, Lyotard's denial of master narratives and Derrida's sliding signifiers; until the anti-foundationalism of our own day indicates a crisis in correspondence views of truth. Institutional structures remain Enlightenment-driven, but in principle the tide has turned currently toward restricting objectivism to the territory of mathematics, physics, and the natural sciences. In reporting, objectivity has become increasingly controversial as the working press' professional standard, though it will remain entrenched in our ordinary practices of news production and dissemination until an alternative mission for the press is convincingly formulated.The demise of correspondence views of truth has created a predicament for the notion of truth altogether. However, instead of appealing to coherence versions or abandoning the concept, truth needs to be relocated in the moral sphere. Truth is a problem of axiology rather than epistemology. With the dominant scheme no longer tenable, truth should become the province of ethicists who can reconstruct it as the news media's contribution to social dialogue.When truth is articulated in terms of a moral framework, we can mold its richly textured meaning around the Hebrew emeth , the Greek aletheia . In Serbo-Croatian the true is justified as with plumbline in carpentry. In the powerful wheel imagery of the Buddhist tradition, truth is the immovable axle. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa presumes that sufferings from apartheid can be healed through truthful testimony. In Ghandhi's “satyagrapha,” the power of truth through the human spirit eventually wins over force . Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Ethics contends correctly that a truthful account lays hold of the context, motives, and presuppositions involved .Telling the truth depends on the quality of discernment so that penultimates do not gain ultimacy. Truth means, in other words, to strike gold, to get at “the core, the essence, the nub, the heart of the matter” . For Henry David Thoreau – though addressing a different issue – when we are truthful, we attempt to “drive life into a corner and¼if it proves to be mean, why then to get the genuine meanness out of it and publish its meanness to the world; or if it were sublime, to know it by personal experience and be able to give a true account of the encounter” . For the former secretary general of the United Nations, Dag Hammarskjold, “the most dangerous of all moral dilemmas is when we are obliged to conceal truth in order to help the truth be victorious” . In the Talmud, the liar's punishment is that no one believes him.Augustine , professor of rhetoric at Milan and later Bishop of Hippo, illustrates a non-correspondence view of truth. Rhetoric for him is not knowledge-producing or opinion-producing but truth-producing . The Epistolae Doctrina Christiana scourges the value-neutral, technical language of “word merchants” without wisdom.Truth is not fundamentally a prescriptive statement. The aletheiac act in Augustine “tends to be more relational than propositional, a dialogically interpersonal, sacramentally charitable act rather than a statement¼taking into account and being motivated by [the cardinal virtues] faith, hope, and charity” . The truth for him does not merely make things clear, but motivates us to belief and action. In truthful communication for Augustine, “it is not enough to seek to move men's minds, merely for the sake of power; instead, the power to move is to be used to lead men to truth”. (shrink)
