She believes that the translation of Peirce's theory of the categories into the conceptual framework of British empiricism and naturalism misrepresents Peirce's cosmology which had very peculiar traits--traits which the author associates with the Platonic tradition. She shows in detail how Peirce tried at first (1868) to relate his three categories to the Scotist, Scholastic, concepts of "essence" and "substance," (...) and how, in his various phaneroscopic experiments, he gradually repudiated the Scholastic languages and by 1902 was ready to interpret his three categories as an adequate ontology. What led Peirce in this direction was his critique of perceptual judgment. He realized that subject and object are in dynamical, social, and historical relation to each other. A logical object is, therefore, also a "dynamic object" or objective. This insight led him at first to regard his doctrine of signs and their interpretation as a humanist or idealist doctrine, for the idealists had also recognized objects as objectives. To review Nynfa Bosco's criticisms would take us far beyond the limits of an historical review. Suffice it to say that her criticisms are acute as well as sympathetic, and that they reflect well some of the differences between Italian and American tendencies in philosophical analysis. Mauchaussat finds significant elements of the later development even in his earliest works. Gaston Bachelard is one of the indespensable figures in the history of 20th-century ideas. The broad scope of his work has had a lasting impact in several fields - notable philosophy, architecture and literature.

Pour Gaston Bachelard, le « non » signifie dépasser et compléter le savoir antérieur, la philosophie de la connaissance scientifique doit englober les contradictions. Si l'on veut bien définir le rationalisme comme une pensée d'organisation, on devra lui accorder une matière à organiser, des éléments à assembler, des expériences à ajuster. On devra le juger au terme même de cette organisation, après son effort synthétique, après son travail de mise en ordre. Il y a peu de justice à le taxer d'incapacité à propos d'une analyse de ce qu'il prend comme éléments de sa construction. Autant dire que le rationalisme est une philosophie fonctionnelle, une (...) philosophie d'opérations - ou plutôt, comme nous le montrerons plus explicitement dans notre livre sur la Mécanique ondulatoire, une philosophie d'opérateurs. This article offers an overview of Marx’s textual legacy on the subject of the multiplied value-positing powers of skilled labour, and undertakes a critical reconstruction of the history of the subsequent controversies over the so-called ‘skilled-labour problem’. Critical examination of the different Marxist responses to the objections put forward by critics shows that they have failed to develop a solution that is consistent with the foundations of Marx’s value-theory. Este artículo analiza el proceso de reconfiguración política que se da en el campamento aqueo a partir del abandono de la cólera de Aquiles en la Ilíada y la subsiguiente reconciliación con Agamenón y el resto de los aqueos. La hipótesis a sostener aquí es que el lugar de Agamenón como el jefe supremo de la expedición aquea (o primus inter pares) pasa a ser ocupado por Aquiles. Aunque este proceso no es explicitado por el poeta o institucionalizado en la (...) narrativa iliádica, pueden rastrearse varios marcadores que indican que este, como aquí llamaré, “traspaso de mando” se da de hecho. Esta dinámica en el campo social y político de la comunidad aquea implica una reflexión filosófico-política por parte de Homero en cuanto a dos formas antagónicas del ejercicio del poder y la autoridad, que se manifiestan en las perspectivas de Agamenón y Aquiles. Por último, se muestra que el modo virtuoso del ejercicio del poder, representado en la figura de Aquiles a partir del canto 19, constituye un modelo con elementos próximos a la democracia del periodo clásico ateniense. Este artículo se propone analizar algunos modos de construcción de sentido comunitario en la _ Ilíada _ _ _y, a su vez, poner foco en la importancia de las acciones de la trama iliádica que se dirigen hacia la configuración de una identidad colectiva. Para ello se abordan los pasajes que exhiben la preocupación del poeta por la conformación de la comunidad política y social, como un eje rector de la acción en el poema. La hipótesis que se sostiene aquí (...) es que hay por parte del poeta una clara intención de abordar el problema de la construcción de una identidad comunitaria, reconfigurando el perfil individualista de la épica heroica tradicional hacia formas de acción colectivas.
