This article uses John Durham Peters's critique of dialogic communication to reconsider this infatuation with dialogue.     This paper examines Hegel’s chief paradigm for interpreting his dialectical method, which is that of circularity. The position that Hegel’s Logic (whether Greater or Lesser) begins without presuppositions loses validity upon clarification of this model of reasoning.
