Esta análise objetiva entender se existe reconhecimento às conjugalidades/parentalidades LGBTQIA+ pelo conceito de família da Política Nacional de Assistência Social e se há subsídios satisfatórios para abonar proteção estatal as genealogias e/ou pessoas LGBTQIA+ por meio dos benefícios, serviços, planos, programas e projetos da Norma Operacional Básica de 2005. Com a análise documental da referida legislação, evidenciou-se que o conceito de família ainda não superou o modelo patriarcal, inserido no sistema capitalista de minimalismo das políticas públicas.

O objetivo desse artigo é analisar o trabalho e a formação em Psicologia para atuação no Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS) no município de Londrina-PR a partir do relato de experiência de formação continuada realizada com um grupo de profissionais que atuam na política. Para a realização das oficinas, utilizou-se a modalidade de grupo focal além de diferentes instrumentos de coleta de dados. A partir de falas e produções escritas ao longo de um grupo de formação, foi (...) realizada análise dos núcleos de significação apresentados pelos participantes. Os resultados demonstraram que existem saberes e práticas que são próprios aos psicólogos no trabalho social, porém a ausência de espaços formativos corrobora para insegurança desse profissional no cotidiano do trabalho. Como conclusão, há a necessidade de operacionalizar conceitos disseminados amplamente pelo saber psicológico para que possam dar subsídios ao trabalho da categoria no contexto da Política Nacional de Assistência Social. O artigo que se apresenta tem como intenção identificar e analisar os processos educativos que decorrem da prática social das religiosidades que acontece em uma unidade da Associação de Proteção e Assistência ao Condenado – APAC – no estado de Minas Gerais/MG. Trata-se de estudo de natureza qualitativa que utiliza como recursos de coleta de dados a entrevista, a observação participativa e anotações em diários de campo. Os achados foram analisados à luz de estudos no campo da educação (...) e da educação em prisões. Os resultados sinalizam a proposta apaqueana como possibilidade e alternativa para suavizar a vida na prisão, por suas práticas mais humanizadas e que a prática das religiosidades pode contribuir para uma convivência mais harmônica entre os recuperandos, os funcionários e voluntários, mas se coloca como forma de poder que dociliza os corpos aprisionados. Neste artigo analisamos uma experiência, no campo da assistência social, desenvolvida na última década em Porto Alegre, a partir da contribuição da categoria formação. Enfatizamos a importância das atividades geradoras de renda por mulheres papeleiras junto aos galpões de reciclagem. A compreensão dessa prática social também envolve um processo formativo que incide também nos agentes de mediação bem como no conjunto da população.

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar o projeto de lei de Locke sobre os pobres à luz do debate que se estabeleceu no século XVII inglês sobre o combate à pobreza. A leitura desse projeto de lei com outros textos de Locke, como o _Segundo tratado_, por exemplo, conduz o leitor a uma flutuação interpretativa que parte de sua visão moral, de salvação da alma_ per_ _si_, passa por uma perspectiva de cunho econômico-utilitarista, baseada no trabalho, e chega a uma (...) solução igualmente moral, de homem disciplinado e apto à vida do labor. Ler este texto de Locke, sem clichês e preconceitos, pode ajudar o leitor contemporâneo a entender a longa luta de inclusão do pobre enquanto ser de direito por meio da assistência social. (shrink)

Today, the earth is an interconnected globe humming with electronic transmissions-a chattering planet nestled in the provident silence of space. The ethical question is whether this is contributing to authentic human development and helping individuals and peoples to be true to their transcendent destiny. The new media are powerful tools for education, cultural enrichment, commercial activity, political participation, intercultural dialogue and understanding. They also can serve the cause of religion. Yet the new information technology needs to be informed and guided (...) by solidarity in the service of the common good bridging the digital divide within and among nations. The value-laden message of Western secular culture to people and traditional societies in many cases ill-prepared to evaluate it leads to widespread crisis, for example, in regard to marriage and family life. This technology can be a means for solving human problems, promoting the integral development of persons, creating a world governed by justice, peace, and love. It also can help men and women in their age-old search for self-understanding. Like today's world itself, the world of media, including the Internet, has been brought by Christ, inchoately yet truly, within the boundaries of the kingdom of God and placed in service to the word of salvation. A la fin du XIXe siècle, le progrès des sciences et des techniques parut ouvrir une ère de bonheur où l'homme, délivré des tâches serviles et de toutes les superstitions, serait enfin le maître de la nature et de son propre destin. Mais le XXe siècle ne tint pas ces promesses. Certes, le progrès des sciences a fait reculer la mortalité infantile et allonger l'espérance de vie. Les nouveaux moyens de communication ont permis la circulation rapide d'informations autour du globe. (...) Mais notre environnement est menacé par toutes sortes de déchets. La biologie a ouvert des voies effrayantes. l'automatisation a bouleversé le monde du travail. La nécessité de former des scientifiques pour créer et maîtriser ces nouveaux outils a fait reculer la culture classique. De tels changements ont obscurci les repères traditionnels, les esprits sont déroutés, le sens est en crise. A l'entrée du troisième millénaire, l'Académie d'Education et d'Etudes sociales ne pouvait laisser ces questions dans l'ombre : elles sont trop souvent l'objet de débats plus passionnés que fondés et raisonnés. La science menace-t-elle l'homme et son environnement? Pèse-t-elle sur la cohésion sociale et la démocratie? Quelle est sa place dans la culture, à côté de la philosophie? Comment le chrétien se situe-t-il dans ce monde scientifique et technique? Par une étude raisonnée de ces questions, l'AES souhaite délivrer un message d'espoir et de confiance, et contribuer à mettre le développement scientifique et technique au service de l'homme, suivant la parole de l'Ecclésiastique : " Le Très-Haut a donné à l'homme le savoir pour être glorifié dans ses merveilles " (17,8). The International Panel on Social Progress is an independent association of top research scholars with the goal of assessing methods for improving the main institutions of modern societies. The IPSP has produced a report consisting of twenty-two chapters in three volumes that distills the research of these scholars and outlines what the best social science has to say about positive social change. Written in accessible language by scholars across the social sciences and humanities, these volumes assess (...) the achievements of world societies in past centuries, the current trends, the dangers that we are now facing, and the possible futures in the twenty-first century. It covers the main socio-economic, political, and cultural dimensions of social progress, global as well as regional issues, and the diversity of challenges and their interplay around the world. Se presentan los resultados de un estudio que explora la gestión de la responsabilidad social en trece hospitales de la Red Sanitaria de RS. Las conclusiones revelan que estos hospitales gestionan la RS profesionalmente y con criterios de calidad, orientados al cumplimiento de los ODS, en el marco del plan estratégico de cada hospital. Aunque, todavía se detectan déficits en su implantación departamental, su planificación, y la evaluación de sus impactos. Y debilidades como la falta de recursos y de (...) liderazgo. Para superarlos, el apoyo directivo del hospital resulta determinante. La Red Sanitaria de RS constituye un modelo de colaboración. (shrink)

Apresentação Agradecemos à presença dos professores do mestrado em Comunicação da Faculdade de Comunicação Social da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, aos alunos da graduação e da pós e aos quatro convidados pela gentileza de estarem no campus da Universidade para tratar de um assunto pouco estudado na área de comunicação. Nos currículos antigos, em especial aqueles na década de 1980, havia uma disciplina intitulada Sistemas Internacionais de Comunicação. Hoje esse é um tema ausente da grade de (...) muitos cursos, daí a importância desta palestra organizada pelos alunos, em 2006, da disciplina de Comunicação Internacional do Programa de Pós-graduação em Comunicação – mestrado – da Uerj, que também encerra as atividades da disciplina no semestre. Este encontro faz parte do Seminário de Produção Acadêmica (SPA), no qual os alunos da graduação e da pós-graduação se encontram em algumas ocasiões para debater assuntos pré-agendados. Participam desta mesa os seguintes correspondentes internacionais: Paula Gobbi, presidente da Associação dos Correspondentes de Imprensa Estrangeira no Rio de Janeiro (ACIE), que reúne praticamente todos os correspondentes estrangeiros sediados na cidade; a brasileira Ivani Flora, que trabalha para a rede de televisão SIC, de Portugal; Ana Maria Geres, diretora no Brasil da agência de notícias espanhola EFE, e Krzysztof Gluchowski, correspondente do jornal The Polish Daily, que circula na Grã-Bretanha. After the three families divided up the state of Jin and the Tian family took over Qi, the political situation in the fourth century B.C.E. appeared even more chaotic. Wei conquered Chu's Luyang and Qin's Xihe, Qin defeated Wei at Shimen , and again at Shaoliang , and Wei moved its capital to Daliang. During the mid-Warring States period, Qin became dominant in the west, Qi in the east, Chu in the south, and Wei in the center. Rapid changes occurred (...) one after another; trickery and conflict were rampant. However, the shi , the intelligentsia, actually managed to expand their spheres of existence and activity accordingly in this state of tension between countries, states, and men. A few major states assembled quite a number of literati; and those men of the villages, who had in earlier times merely waited passively for opportunities to fall into their laps, crisscrossed the various feudal states; literati who previously had no cause to use military force became, one by one, the honored guests of the feudal lords. With the breakdown of the previously simple and obvious order, the gradually dismantling of the common body of the ancestral clan of the past, and the increasing complexities of social relationships after the dissolution of blood ties, social order became a matter of concern. Or, to reword this most practical issue: How could this universally chaotic society go from disorder to order? (shrink)

The tremendous recent growth of the women's movement as a political force has been accompanied by an event of equal import to the academic world--the development of the discipline of women's studies. Colleges across the nation are establishing programs in this area. Women's Studies is a classroom anthology designed for use in these newly-introduced courses.

Gilberto Monteiro foi médico municipal da freguesia de Carnaxide de 1921 a 1961, Chefe dos Serviços Clínicos da extinta fábrica dos Fermentos Holandeses (F.P.F.H.), sediada na Cruz Quebrada, de 1934 a 1962 e, durante a II Guerrra Mundial, exerceu no Hospital Militar de Belém, na qualidade de tenente médico miliciano. Amante do desporto e desportista, G. Monteiro foi um dos fundadores do Sport Algés e Dafundo (SAD), instituição onde, enquanto membro da sua primeira Comissão Cultural, criou a Biblioteca, organizou conferências, (...) exposições e concertos e outras actividades culturais que ali atrairam figuras de relevo como Aquilino Ribeiro, Viana da Mota, Hernâni Cidade e Norton de Matos, entre outros. Se nas suas crónicas escritas para “O Fermento” deparamos com o G. Monteiro, historiador inconformado, que denuncia os constantes atentados à integridade histórica e patrimonial, no Esboço Histórico do Hospital Militar (1945) convivemos com um testemunho de vertical e desassombrada coragem cívica, denunciadora dos males de que padecia a medicina contemporânea. Finalmente, acompanhamos o esforço e as diligências que, numa linha de justiça, educação e melhoria da qualidade de vida das pessoas, G. Monteiro desenvolveu, em pleno Estado Novo, a fim de instituir na fábrica (FPFH) uma assistência médico-social moderna. (shrink)
