The article highlights the theoretical foundations of information support of public administration. The paper considers and analyzes effective information and telecommunication systems for implementing information security in public administration, including the development and implementation of a scientific approach to it. The research focuses on the amount of information that moves in the information system of public administration activities and provides authorities received mutually reinforcing effect "economies of scale" that is traditional in costs by increasing the scale of production.

The work presents axiological aspect of tolerance formation under conditions when each culture comprehends its tradition uniqueness and strives to prove its competitiveness under globalization; basic features of tolerance have been outlined as well.

The essential factors of implementation of gender identification in the context of social and communication interaction have been considered in terms of the social and philosophical analysis. The author focuses on the achievements of postmodern philosophy in terms of the scientific analysis that focused on the problem of understanding gender marking subjectivity not as immutable biological forms but as socially constructed conducted by certain types of social and communicative strategies. The author indicates that different social aspects of biological sex of (...) the individual associated with the process of public perception and the system of established socio-cultural relationship. These require the individual to a particular type of gender communicative behavior, the most appropriate in a particular society, and language becomes from an external tool in a tool of external means of formation of subjectivity, begins to define the essential contents of the subject. Language appears not only a way of individuals communication, but it is also organic strategy "involvement" of the subject in contemporary culture system, it acts as the key to his self-expression and identity. The author emphasizes that gender role is a differentiation of activity, status, rights and duties of individuals based on their gender; it belongs to the category of social roles and expressing certain social expectations. The value-regulatory system family, which brought up a specific person, has an influence on the formation of gender roles. In terms of the communication gender display is means of gender roles implementation. Gender identity should not be seen as attributive property of the individual, but it should be seen as a model of social and communicative behavior, that enables selection of the most effective communication strategies for social interaction and social causes of self-identity. The term dual use technologies refers to research and technology with the potential both to yield valuable scientific knowledge and to be used for nefarious purposes with serious consequences for public health or the environment. There are two main approaches to assessing dual use technologies: pragmatic and metaphysical. A pragmatic approach relies on ethical principles and norms to generate specific guidance and policy for dual use technologies. A metaphysical approach exhorts us to the deeper study of human nature, our intentions, (...) goals, values ideals and social relations when considering dual use technology. Use of science and technology (S and T) is determined by two components of human nature: human intentions and choices. We have drawn a distinction between specific measures, goals and intentions with respect to technologies in order to show that moral judgment about technologies must precede their use. Understanding of our intentionality and values, and our moral ideals, as a measurable, tangible part of the real world is important for the prevention of any possible harm from S and T. In the context of dual use technologies, we stress the importance of three main understandings of human nature: vulnerability, responsibility and narrative identity. These can become a strong ontological “antidote” to technology’s poisoning of modern man. Each new technology can be measured and compared with man’s values, traditions and societal norms. This can be done bearing in mind the concept that human nature is not dualistic, but pluralistic. A system of ethical principles that includes the principles of good intentions, the correspondence of goals and means, the balancing of risks and benefits, simplicity, and contextuality, will help ensure that technologies are more humanistic and friendly to human beings. The article is devoted to revealing the phenomenon of contemporary changes in the language space, in accordance with the processes of transition that take place in the economy of Ukraine in the context of knowledge representation, neuro-modeling and artificial intelligence. The relevance and expediency of the study are due to the uncertainty to some extent of innovative processes occurring in the development of the contemporary Ukrainian language in connection with the transitional processes in the economy. The relevance of the study (...) is determined by: 1) the importance for contemporary linguistics of identifying and describing the structural and typological features of the “dominant” lexical and semantic subsystems of the contemporary Ukrainian language, reflecting the most significant concepts of contemporary Ukrainian conceptosphere; 2) the importance of the lexical subsystem of public administration not only for the contemporary Ukrainian language and contemporary Ukrainian national consciousness, but also for the effective economic policy of the state; 3) a lack of special generalizing research on the problems of formation, development and current state of the Ukrainian vocabulary of state regulation of the economy; 4) the need to clarify and improve the methodology of complex analysis of lexical and semantic systems in the Ukrainian language, methods and techniques of describing lexical units in synchronous and diachronic aspects. 5) current needs in the use of artificial intelligence, based on the principles of neuro-modeling in the representation of knowledge in the conditions of transition economy of Ukraine. The article deals with certain aspects, risks, and ethical problems of technological improvement of human, namely the use of technologies for transformation his / her genome. At the present stage of civilizational progress of humanity, the scientific potential of society and the possibility of producing high technologies initiate technological transformation in the evolution of civilization. There have not yet been analogues of this transformation in the history of mankind. One aspect of this transformation is the transformation of the biological nature (...) of human. Human improves the art of his own qualitative transformation. Human is trying to spread his control over his own evolution. The main objects of technological influence on humans are the brain and the genome. Ethical aspects of human enhancement need philosophical understanding. J. Harris made a significant contribution to the development of this issue. The article presents his teachings of “enhancing evolution”, according to which human improvement is a reasonable way of development. The awareness of the ethical issues associated with the imperfections of these technologies and the problems associated with the perspective of their application to human embryos has contributed to the holding of International Summits on Human Gene Editing. The analysis of the results of their work gives us the opportunity to assert that there is a consensus among scientists to prevent the practical application of inherited editing of the human genome today. The article emphasizes that now, in the conditions of existential threats, risks that have an integrated manner, it is extremely necessary to focus on axiological, ethical and humanistic values in the system of scientific knowledge. Scientists should focus on the socio-cultural dimension of human improvement. In this context, bioethics, which has become the answer to many ethical questions and problems, becomes extremely important. Bioethics can become the basis for creating science-based balance between the practical application of technologies for human improvement and human rights, the principles of humanism and progress. The article is devoted to populism as a political phenomenon and as an object of analysis in po- litical theory. The focus is on the debate around the definition of populism. The article reviews various approaches to the study of populism, particularly ideological and discursive approaches. The author also analyses populism from the point of view of the normative theory of democracy and discusses the issue whether populism is a threat to liberal democracy or a correction of it. The problem (...) of defining ‘the people’, a key populist concept, is considered separately, and it is concluded that nationalist and populist discourses essentially intersect, so it is impossible to separate them completely. The article argues for a discursive approach to populism. Populism’s primary feature is a claim to speak in the name of the people. Populism is an element of the representative demo- cracy and represents both its constant potential and a menace to it. Populism also appeals to the claim for democratic legitimacy that is a basic normative demand in modern societies. It is logi- cal to consider populism not as the essential characteristic of a political actor (party, movement, leader) who is or is not a populistic but as the aggregation of the populist repertoire, a combina- tion of its elements and their orientation. Today local, national and international ethics committees have become an effective means of social regulation in many European countries. Science itself is an important precondition for the development of bioethical knowledge and ethics expertise. Cultural, social, historical and religious preconditions can facilitate different forms and methods of ethics expertise in each country. Ukrainian ethics expertise has some methodological problems connected with its socio-cultural, historical, science and philosophy development particularities. In this context, clarification of some common legitimacies or methodological approaches to (...) ethics committee (EC) phenomena such as globalization, scientization and the prioritization of an ethics paradigm are very important. On the other hand, elaborate study and critical analysis of international experience by Ukraine and other Eastern European countries will provide the integration of their local and national ethics expertises into a world bioethics ethos. The article considers the features contemporary transformations narratives official Russian Orthodoxy in the years 2015-2016. At the end of 2015 and in 2016 narrative "Russian world" Patriarch and his entourage tried to upgrade using the ideal of "solidarity." The ideas of "solidarity" in the XX century evolved differently in Catholic social teaching and fascism. Spokesman of the Russian Orthodox Church sees the embodiment of the ideals of solidarity in the best manifestations of Soviet mentality. "Solidarism" in the rhetoric of the (...) Patriarch and his entourage are a means of legitimizing Russian nationalism and revanchism. According to the Patriarch of core values and "Russian world" is "faith, state, justice, solidarity and dignity." These values must be an alternative to liberal values - freedom, rights, human rights. According to Patriarch values should determine the policy, and especially value the unity of the Russian people and state. This means that the patriarch claim to symbolic power over the politicians of Russia and neighboring countries. Іn rhetoric of patriarch the West, with its core value of freedom, embodies evil. Russia tempted by Western values, and this is the cause of many crises. The role of savior in this narrative belongs to the church and its leadership. Present rated as the culmination of the struggle between good and evil. The future victory of good patriarch linked not only to preserve the unity and uniqueness of Russia, but the triumph of traditionalism in Europe, the adoption of the values of solidarity society. The topicality of the issue on communities being restructured as a result of migration processes, in particular in Europe nowadays, leads to academic discussions on identity transformations under the pressure of the migrations, as well as to integration rethinking. The approach to integration has changed significantly, and the idea of the Other as an individual or a group in need of being adjusted to the social-cultural space of We has faded away, while being substituted by the recent shift from diversity (...) to superdiversity, the nation-focused models of integration considered outdated. Integration emerges as a relation-based process aimed at communicative and discoursive discovering of the social and cultural markers disclosing the possibilities for citizens to reach social cohesion advantages, without the latter being instrumentally imposed through unifying efforts of those in power. The article dwells upon the questions, issues and conclusions of the recent discussion “Who needs integration?”; and the discoursive aspect of integration based on D- principle and migration-related aspects of its implementation has been paid due attention as well. Static and dynamic identity issues have been studied in the context of conflict-related migration situation in Ukraine. The challenges and practical discourses implying integration have been reviewed through the surveys’ data, 2017- 2019, on the protracted displacement, relations between displaced persons and host communities, tolerance and civic engagement. Post-conflict reintegration problems have been outlined in the conclusions, through the issues on “return vs. integration” choice, “red lines”, and educational means and limitations of influence on the restructured communities, – as the perspectives for further research in the framework of the study. In the article, the scenario-moulding is evaluated through the linguistic and conceptual accessibility of the future and the moral challenges of doing and allowing harm to the future participants of the practical discourses rooted in the present-centered scenarios. The viability of the scenarios is suggested to be defined by the alienation from the present and past imaginative contexts, as well as by overcoming the projections of humanity exclusiveness through inversible forecasting with the shift from human power to vulnerability as the (...) key issue in scenario-making. The eccentric approach to the future makes it possible to review both intergenerational and intragenerational perspectives of the future through the chronological distance and yet-inexistent subjects’ expectations and needs simulation. Taking to account the impact of the past, present and future otherness implies the three-dimensional assessment model involving metaphorical evaluation of the past-rooted patterns as paradise lost, illusions of the accessible futures as paradise found, and refusal of the futurized present expectations for the yetunknown imaginative future contexts as paradise conceptually postponed. The article deals with the problem of possibilities of implementing the experience of transhumanism into the educational sphere. It is concluded that education, as a culturally creative component of society and human life, not only transfers the experience of the past, but also outlines the orientations of the future, preparing a person for life in a society where intellectual resources and innovations play a decisive role. Its effectiveness is predetermined by the degree to which a person is prepared for changes, (...) effective actions to solve the contradictions of social development. Methodological potential of the experience of transhumanism in educational development has been revealed in this research as the realities of the present form a number of new challenges to education. The concept of transhumanism focuses the educational process upon the need to find and create identical and cultural forms by the human being according to social requests; it points up the worldview-axiological and purposeful foundations of human objective reality. In the educational domain, the methodological possibilities of transhumanism are directed to the discovery of the individual nature of a human being. Educational activity is increasingly focused upon developing learning capacity which is considered as a process of self-knowledge, self-creation, self-building of the environment and a human being. Recent anthropological studies consider the corporal experience as an indispensable attribute of a person’s life world. They declare to go beyond the dichotomy of body and mind and present a modern person as a complex integrity of all systems and characteristics of a living organism. Body and mind are a union of vitality with different forms of their manifestation. The corporal is not regarded as an essential complement to the mental, the corporal is the mental, just in a different form (...) of its manifestation. The implementation of a methodological turn from a rationalcognitive approach to a holistic understanding of human nature and the peculiarities of cognitive processes outlines the problem of education transformation in both theoretical and practical terms. Taking into account the complexity and multiplicity of tasks in solving this problem, the guideline in defining conceptual ideas is the understanding of a person as a multi-temporal being who lives simultaneously in multiple hierarchical levels, ontological time and the scale of processes. It is a question of necessity to construct educational activity in semantic planes: mindbody- culture, mind-body-activity, body-consciousness-reaction and others. (shrink)

У статті підкреслено думку про настійну потребу співвіднесеності сучасних культурно-антропологічних пошуків України з мислетворчою традицією, актуалізованою ідеями богословсько-персоналістської цінності людини та кордоцентризму, які знайшли вагоме опертя в ісихазмі з його невичерпним потенціалом преображення та обоження людини. Доведено, що ісихазм − це не лише спокій і мовчання і не тільки система богословських понять, з допомогою якої стверджується можливість єднання з Богом. Це щонайбільшою мірою особисте божественне самоодкровення. Ісихазм значну увагу акцентує на спроможності серця увібрати і вмістити божественне світло, яке стяжає подвижник. (...) Акцентовано увагу на значимості кордоцентричної лінії у сучасному українському філософуванні, що найповніше акумулювала у собі усю повноту філософської морально-релігійної вітчизняної традиції. Доведено, що острозьке книжництво стало своєрідною сполучною ланкою між Афоном та Україною у кінці XVI-го століття. Підкреслено трансформацію традиції острожан у творчості Петра Могили, який наголошує на тому, що «не плоть і кров», а священне богослов’я навчає істинній премудрості – Божественному розуму. Ця думка демонструє дієву концепцію «внутрішньої» людини, а також засвідчує безперервність спадкоємництва філософування у православному морально-релігійному контексті від давньоруського любомудрія до кордоцентричних інтенцій Київської філософської школи.Аргументовано, що ісихастська практика теозису − обоження людини є надзвичайно важливою, оскільки що являє собою містику світла, яке єдине може видозмінити світ. А тому відстежені нами трансформації ісихастського досвіду в українській філософії засвідчують потребу належного інтерпретаційного простору українського кордоцентризму. (shrink)

Актуальність обраної теми статті зумовлена глобалізаційними процесами у різних сферах суспільного буття, їх конвергенцією, появою та розповсюдженням Інтернету у світі, який сприяв якісно новому етапу розвитку світу – загальної цифровізації економіки, політики, державного і муніципального управління, фінансової сфери, освіти, культури, медицини та інших сфер життєдіяльності суспільства. «Цифрова трансформація» набула ознак четвертої промислової революції. Технічні інновації визначають темпи розвитку сучасного соціуму. Цивілізаційні зміни у сфері цифровізації такі революційні, глибинні, що світ не уявляється нам без Інтернету речей, роботизації, штучного інтелекту, створення великих (...) даних, безпаперових технологій, 3D-друку, хмарного та туманного обчислення, безпілотних, мобільних, біометричних технологій тощо. Сучасні цивілізаційно-технологічні зміни формують певні особливості філогенетичного розвитку людини: по-перше, розвиток техніки спричиняє зміни у свідомості людини, «формується» «цифрова людина» – Homo digitalis, з іншим мисленням, світоглядом, доступом до знань у режимі реального часу, яка завдяки штучному інтелекту і робототехніки реалізує та вирішує значно складніші економічні, управлінські, освітні, естетичні, елітарні, творчі проєкти та задачі, змінюючи аксіологічні основи буття. По-друге, у цифровому бутті людина не лише отримує нові можливості для творчості, а й стикається із загрозами власного існування, зумовленими результатами її техніко-раціоналістичної діяльності, яка ігнорує буттєві основи людського роду та пропонує конструкції особливого світу людини – штучної віртуальної реальності, втрачається міжособистісне пізнання. У цифровому просторі людина є учасником усього того, що відбувається у технооб’єднаному та взаємопов'язаному світі, створеному глобалізаційними процесами. Аналіз наукової літератури дає підстави стверджувати, що різні найактуальніші аспекти глобалізації, її трансформації та ролі людини в ній відобразилися у наукових статтях та монографіях українських учених – В. У статті визначено особливості наукового методологічного підходу до розв’язання антропологічних проблем; показано, що проект комплементарного пізнання має визначальне значення для новітніх методологій людинознавства. Для української філософської антропології це означає реінтеграцію в смисловому полі уявлень про цілісність людського буття. Розглянуто разики методологічної гібридизації. Йдеться про надмірний інтегратизм, аматорство тощо. Виявлено межі інтеграції природознавчої та гуманітарної методологій. У контексті ідей «фундаментальної онтології» обґрунтовано, що методологічна сфера науки зараз неможлива поза концепцією смислоутворення. Проаналізовано, через які причини жодна з наук нездатна обійти присутність людського (...) буття та охопити своїм уявленням повноту його єства. Проаналізовано хибні наслідки розширеного витлумачення понять філософської антропології. Доведено, що вичерпність знань можлива лише в межах способу, який має дискурсивно-прагматичний характер. У цій статті вивчені позиції М. Гайдеггера, М. Бубера, М. Фуко та використано для визначення поняття гібридизації тощо. Це розкриває науково-дискурсивну конотацію концепції. (shrink)

Стаття присвячена аналізу соціальних чинників реалізації гендерних стереотипів владного впливу. З'ясовано сутність гендерних стереотипів як соціальної категорії, їх функціональна спрямованість. Автор аналізує гендерні схеми, що базуються на кодуванні "своїх" та "чужих", їхнє значення в пізнанні соціальної реальності, визначає роль гендерних стереотипів у продукуванні й підтримці ієрархічних взаємовідносин у суспільстві. Визначено соціальний зміст гендерних ролей, їхнє значення у виробленні суспільних моделей поведінки.

Svitlana Shkil’s article «Reception of meeting Patriarch Kirill and Pope Francis in the information space of the Russian Orthodox Church» examined reaction to a meeting of religious leaders in Havana speakers of the three trends in Russian Orthodoxy - conservatives, fundamentalists, liberals. This unprecedented event caused a wide resonance in the Russian information space of the church, caused a broad discussion on the future of Russian Orthodoxy.

Based upon the Ukrainian hierarchs’ epistolary legacy, the article analyzes characteristic features of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy intellectual space, which was created by Academy alumni of different generations and various hierarchy levels. The author establishes that the closest relations were between correspondents belonging to the same or almost same hierarchy level and who were bonded together by the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy educational system and school comradeship, eventually obtained high positions in the hierarchy. Communication within the boundaries of individual centers (the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the (...) Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, collegiums in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Pereiaslav, seats of Ukrainian bishops in Russia, etc.) depended on specificity of the environment. Predominant themes encountered in the letters of the Ukrainian bishops included needs of the alma mater, the Kyiv Academy, and the collegiums. The correspondence addressed issues of their legal status, academic staff, financial support, as well as the literary work and publishing activities of the hierarchs. (shrink)

The popularity of this direction lies in the interest of the scientists in the phenomenon of virtual communication, which has a certain structure and differs in mechanisms of influence on the social content. The multidimensionality and richness of genre forms determine the need for a diverse approach to the study of speech genres in modern genology. The aim of the (...) article is to study and analyze the theory of speech genres in modern linguistics. The author presents the basic theoretical foundations of the study of the theory of speech genres. Taking into account the achievements of modern studies, the concept of speech genres is analyzed, features and functions of the visual elements of the speech genre are described. It is proved that the modern speech genre and its variety the virtual speech genre are an informational and communicative environment in which there is a certain styling, sphere of communication, speech behavior. The speech genre and the virtual speech genre belong to the written communication and rely on the fullest use of lexical, grammatical, graphic, and media means of speech, which foresees certain adjustments, as well as it differs by the form of dialogue and monologue. In this article reviews the historiography of modern scientific research achievements of the youth movement of the late nineteenth ofGalicia- 30th years of twentieth century. The writer states that generalize the work, which comprehensively reviewed their development work on the history of individual societies, studies of specific areas of their activities, historical and biographical and other different genres publication is a significant contribution to the development of modern historiography of the problem.

Uncertainty and instability haunt us every day in today’s new reality. The purpose is a theoretical justification and empirical study of the hardiness of the personality in critical conditions of life. Psychodiagnostic complex of hardiness is indicated as a factor of personality adaptation. High average and high levels of hardiness are characteristics of an independently developed personality with a high ability to adapt. It has been established that the average level of hardiness contributes to the optimal experience of situations of (...) uncertainty and involves a person’s choice of coping strategies to counteract the new difficulties in professional and personal life. It has been substantiated that respondents who have high rates of hardiness have a higher level of adaptation efficiency. It has been stated that “risk acceptance” as the component of hardiness of participants of the “Work and Travel” program is more pronounced than in the respondents of other samples. It has been proved that empirical research of semantic psychological parameters of personality hardiness in critical conditions of life allowed to draw significant conclusions. It is noted that the results of the study need to be operationalized in training, educational and developmental and psycho-correctional practices. It is emphasized that the obtained empirical results should be used in the training of applicants for psychological specialties. (shrink)

The paper argues in favor of bioethics as an alternative to traditional medical ethics. Relations between the patient and the doctor placed in the bioethical context are considered as a part of more general, global issues: relations between clients, customers, various (including non-medical) services and the professional medical community and society in general, world-renowned scientists and the international community. Medical ethics is seen in the wider expanse of diverse economic, political and cultural relations not only in terms of responsibilities but (...) also natural rights which all people have without exception and with regard to professional identity. In contrast to traditional medical ethics, bioethics not only encourages one to reconsider the content of human morality, which is built on interpersonal relations, but also shows that disease and health are not merely medical phenomena. In this situation, paramount importance is assigned to interests of the client and society rather than medical corporations. Such a transformation of medical theory and practice requires public discussion of professional ethics issues and external regulation control. There is a need to develop ethical criteria for medical activity not only at the national but also international, or even global, levels, as well as criteria for long-term effects of highly technological professional medical practice. Bioethics expands the boundaries of professional medical ethics and ethical reflection of its normative foundations as it carries out both internal (code of ethics) and external (ethics committees and commission) “regulation” of professional practice. The article presents the study of the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of organizational culture formation of future border guard officers, as well as the essence and features of its content. It has been found out that organizational culture is a professionally important quality of future border guard officers, which covers knowledge about the mission and values of the border guard agency, ability to maintain and contribute to the harmonized work of the border guard unit and is expressed through adhering to (...) professional standards in interpersonal interaction and in performing border security tasks, as well as in self-organization and mobilization. In the conditions of higher military educational institution it is recommended to intensify the value-motivational attitude of cadets to learn current issues of organizational culture of the border guard officers; to develop their abilities and skills of team work by introduction of social and psychological training; to apply modern dialogic forms, methods and interactive technologies of training for the development of skills of professional communicative interaction; to develop cadets’ organizational abilities, managerial decision making skills and leadership by gradually introducing into the educational process professionally oriented situational tasks, gradually complicating content with each course. The results of the pedagogical experiment regarding formation of organizational culture of future border guard officers in the course of their professional training are described in detail. (shrink)

This article focuses on the book collection whose history began in the mid-eighteenth century and despite certain losses continues nowadays 1. This is a sole known book gathering that belonged to the Ukrainian ruling dynasty and still finds itself in the possession of the family. The Counts Razumovsky, who trace their ancestry from the hetman Kyrylo Rozumovsky (1728– 1803), held first-class libraries in their Ukrainian, Russian, Austrian, and Czech estates during almost three centuries. However, it is only the Viennese collection (...) that survived the tough twentieth century and sheds light on the bookish tastes of its aristocratic proprietors. At the same time, the catalogues of 1907 and 1914 reveal the repertoire of the lost assemblages, offering a broader exploration of the family book tradition possible. The theoretical frame of the lecture refers to the contemporary memory studies with a special attention to family memory. (shrink)

Our study shows that 26 % of respondents believe that the End of the World will not arrive. Twenty-four per cent of respondents are skeptical about the likelihood of the Apocalypse, but they admit its possibility. Thirty-seven per cent of respondents believe that the End of (...) Time will not come soon and the remaining 13% expect the Apocalypse very soon. Some respondents indicate that growth in the rate of prophecies connected with the End of the World in recent years suggests that humanity itself seeks it, while 9 % of respondents state the religious point of view in their works. Also 9 % of respondents believe that there will be no destruction of civilization or destruction of the planet but there will be a mental transition to another level of being. The existence of correlation between creative thinking and eschatological expectations was also empirically established in our study, especially in the group of respondents with a high level of verbal creativity. There is no correlation between the index of non-verbal creativity, personal religiosity and eschatological expectations in the sample. These results confirm that our study is relevant and offers great prospects for further scientific research. (shrink)

The purpose of the article is to explore the gender aspect of the modernization of Tunisian society from modernism to postmodernism, which defined the cultural concept of the twentieth century. The article conducts a comprehensive study of gender aspects of the modernization of Tunisian society since the beginning of this modernization in 1900 of the XX century. to the beginning of the XXI century; for the first time the periodization of the women's movement in Tunisia in the period of modern (...) history is presented and substantiated; analyzed the history of the impact of political and legal reforms of the Tunisian government on changing the gender situation in society; reflects the specifics of gender ideas and practices of Tunisian society in historical retrospect. The degree of influence of the French colonial regime on the modernization of Tunisian society in a gender context is determined; an analysis of the specifics of gender relations in Islamic society. It is proved that Islamic democracy was presented as a guarantor of the real emancipation of women, provided that she retains the primary status of wife and mother. This principle, due to the socio-cultural traditions of Tunisian society, was in fact basic in gender perceptions and for this period. Biographies of the leaders of the Tunisian movement show that their social self-realization was usually directly ensured by the status of the wife of a politician. (shrink)
