The Principles of Deleuzian Philosophy.Koichiro Kokubun & Wren Nishina - 2020 - Edinburgh University Press.
Koichiro Kokubun focuses on Deleuze's method of 'free indirect discourse' to locate and explicate Deleuze's philosophy of transcendental empiricism and its constitutive limits. He works through Deleuze's confrontations with Hume, Kant, Bergson, Freud, Lacan, Foucault and Guattari, and the influence of structuralism and psychoanalysis.

Hesitant avoidance while walking: an error of social behavior generated by mutual interaction.Motoyasu Honma, Shinichi Koyama & Mitsuru Kawamura - 2015 - Frontiers in Psychology 6:132952.
Altering physical actions when responding to changing environmental demands is important but not always effectively performed. This ineffectiveness, which is an error of social behavior generated by mutual interactions, is not well understood. This study investigated mechanisms of a hesitant behavior that occurs in people walking toward each other, causing people to move in the same direction when attempting to avoid a collision. Using a motion capture device affixed to 17 pairs, we first confirmed the hesitant behavior by a difference (...)

Changes in EEG Complexity with Electroconvulsive Therapy in a Patient with Autism Spectrum Disorders: A Multiscale Entropy Approach.Ryoko Okazaki, Tetsuya Takahashi, Kanji Ueno, Koichi Takahashi, Makoto Ishitobi, Mitsuru Kikuchi, Masato Higashima & Yuji Wada - 2015 - Frontiers in Human Neuroscience 9:103227.
Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are heterogeneous neurodevelopmental disorders that are reportedly characterized by aberrant neural networks. Recently developed multiscale entropy analysis (MSE) can characterize the complexity inherent in EEG dynamics over multiple temporal scales in the dynamics of neural networks. We encountered an 18-year-old man with ASD whose refractory catatonic obsessive–compulsive symptoms were improved dramatically after electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). In this clinical case study, we strove to clarify the neurophysiological mechanism of ECT in ASD by assessing EEG complexity using MSE. (...)
