Ortega’s liberalism as philosophy. From neokantism to the metaphysics of human life as radical reality.

Poetry and world in early Heidegger’s thought.Andrés Felipe Martínez-Castro - 2023 - Estudios de Filosofía (Universidad de Antioquia) 69:115-136.
This article explores the relationship between Heidegger’s philosophy and poetry in his habilitation and his first lectures in Freiburg. Although poetry as a particular phenomenon was not yet thematized by Heidegger, philosophy and language developed in its proximity since the habilitation text. Subsequently, a tragic quotation exemplifies the characterization of language as a premundane generality in his first lessons. The article elaborates an interpretation of the implicit relationship between philosophy and poetry based on the pre-mundane language [Vorweltliche] and its critique (...)

  8. E. Cassirer's concept of symbolic form.R. Maco - 2001 - Filozofia 56 (1):25-41.
The paper offers a systematic historical analysis of the origins, the meaning and the extension of the basic concept of Cassirer´s philosophy of the later period, seen from various points of view. Its main object is Cassirer's essay of 1921, in which his only explicit definition oh this concept can be find. Further the author examines, to what extent the philosophy of symbolic forms turned away from the "orthodox" neokantism , as well as the impact the discussions of the (...)

This paper compares Nietzsche ́s views on the relationship between philosophical reflection and empirical sciences against the background of some of the debates in the so-called transcendental tradition, in order to characterize his position in terms of a liberal kind of methodological naturalism. Initially, it will be shown that there are some similarities between the debates in the German academic philosophy of the second half of the nineteenth century and the Postquinean contemporary debates on naturalism. I discuss subsequently F. A. (...)

  10. Ceticismo e Vida contemplativa em Nietzsche.Rogerio Lopes - 2008 - Dissertation, Federal University of Minas Gerais
The present thesis intends the reconstruction of Nietzsche’s dialogue with the history of scepticism through the identification of his main sources. Such dialogue is constantly mediated by texts from authors contemporary to Nietzsche, therefore the reconstruction of the sources could not remain exclusively inside the sceptical tradition, but included frequently some post-Kantian authors. The fundamental claims of the present thesis are: Nietzsche was deeply acquainted with the history of scepticism; his work assumes this tradition in a very innovative manner; Nietzsche (...)

This paper discusses the role the question of being plays in the development of Heidegger’s thought. It is shown that the basic question of traditional ontology doesn’t provide a Leitfaden for Heidegger’s philosophical development as a whole. Actually, in his first academic writings, Heidegger sh..
