Integrating food security into public health and provincial government departments in British Columbia, Canada.Barbara Seed, Tim Lang, Martin Caraher & Aleck Ostry - 2013 - Agriculture and Human Values 30 (3):457-470.
Food security policy, programs, and infrastructure have been incorporated into Public Health and other areas of the Provincial Government in British Columbia, including the adoption of food security as a Public Health Core Program. A policy analysis of the integration into Public Health is completed by merging findings from 48 key informant interviews conducted with government, civil society, and food supply chain representatives involved in the initiatives along with relevant documents and participant/direct observations. The paper then examines the results within (...)

Command invariants and the frame of reference for human movement.David J. Ostry, Rafael Laboissière & Paul L. Gribble - 1995 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 18 (4):770-772.
We describe a solution to the redundancy problem related to that proposed in Feldman & Levin's target article. We suggest that the system may use a fixed mapping between commands organized at the level of degrees of freedom and commands to individual muscles. This proposal eliminates the need to maintain an explicit representation of musculoskeletalgeometry in planning movements.

In defense of the Smart aleck: A reply to Ted Honderich.Richard Duble - 1999 - Journal of Philosophical Research 24 (January):305-9.
In “Honderich on the Consequences of Determinism” I argued that contrary to Ted Honderich’s thesis in his How Free Are You? determinism has no consequences, whether logical, moral, or psychological, about how we must view persons we beIieve to be determined. Honderich replied in “Compatibilism, Incompatibilism, and the Smart Aleck” that there is a sense in which our belief in determinism has consequences that any reasonable human being must recognize. My present paper examines Honderich’s reply.

  21. Jakým relacionalistou byl Leibniz?Kateřina Lochmanová - 2019 - Teorie Vědy / Theory of Science 41 (1):21-57.
