The paper shows how the transcendental assumptions of Kant’s Critique of Reason collects together two of the key moments that, in their various relationships, recur throughout the post-Kantian discussion: anti-psycologism respectively psychologism on the one hand, and anthropology on the other hand. Whereas the position of K.L. Reinhold’s Elementary Philosophy is characterized by a proposal for a superior factualism – that of consciousness as condition of possibility of human experience –, the arguments put forward by J.G. Fichte’s Doctrine of science (...) intend to overcome such a transcendental psychology in order to gain back the true meaning of Kant’s critical turning point, without accepting some too formalistic restrictions. The aim of my paper is to show how the two concepts of psychology and anthropology are linked in the philosophical reflection of some german authors between the end of 19th and the beginning of the 20th century: I discuss in particular the theories of W. Dilthey, W. Wundt, T. Lipps, W. Windelband and H. Cohen. I find a line of demarcation that divides their theoretical positions and concerns the role that psychology should play in relationship to the investigation on (...) the human nature. In front of statements for which psychology represents the basis for an anthropological proposal there are philosophical assumptions according to which such an idea has to be comprehended as a form of anthropologism or psychologism. Instead of studying facts and connections of facts a well founded anthropological research should be transcendental and start from the Kantian question about the conditions of the possibility of the human nature. O nosso objetivo é propor um diálogo entre Husserl e Heidegger relacionando-os a partir da crítica que estes filósofos apresentam à investigação de viés naturalista acerca do homem, predominante na tradição filosófica. Para Husserl, o domínio do naturalismo representa a influência da Psicologia Experimental na filosofia, Heidegger, por sua vez, destaca a temática antropológica encontrada na história da filosofia. De acordo com o primeiro, o “psicologismo” acarreta na redução do homem aos seus componentes empíricos, para o segundo, o “antropologismo” (...) equivale a um processo de coisificação do homem. O “psicologismo” e o “antropologismo” são reflexões inadequadas pois equiparam o homem ao objeto natural, isto é, são reflexões que não consideram o verdadeiro sentido de ser do homem, ignorando a consciência intencional e a existência. Logo, Husserl e Heidegger compartilham a tentativa de fazer a filosofia retornar sobre aquele âmbito que compõe propriamente o homem, ou seja, ambos filósofos defendem a desnaturalização da reflexão e desenvolvem a fenomenologia como o exercício de tal retorno. The aim of this paper is to provide an appreciation of Michel Foucault’s The Order of Things reception, from the latest book by Ivan Domingues entitled “Foucault, a arqueologia e As palavras e as coisas: cinquenta anos depois” (Ed. UFMG, 2023). One of the scopes of the book is to examine the range of The Order of Things and its archaeological strategy to account for the presentation of the birth of human sciences, as well as its fragility and instability in (...) the face of a possible change in the disposition of knowledge. Or Episteme’s disposition, according to Foucault terminology, whose signs of change can be observed on the occasion of the advent, in the twentieth century, of Lacanian psychoanalysis, ethnology and structural linguistics. By privileging its repercussions, expansions and rectifications fifty years later, it is not intended to “correct” Foucault from an epistemological point of view, but to point out the fertility and power of his thoughts for posterity. It is about going through “fertile errors and anodyne truths” (DOMINGUES, 2020, p. 386). The bet is that possible gaps, errors or confusions identifiable by Foucault himself and by his critics at the time never invalidate the fertility of a discussion concerning human sciences, which were never the same after Foucault. Con lo sviluppo dell'antropologia moderna, alcuni problemi filosofici si ripropongono in forma inedita. Riflettere sull'uomo non significa più conoscere se stessi, né parlare di Dio o dell'anima, ma confrontarsi con un essere problematicamente proteso tra determinatezza e libertà, tra "natura" e "mondo". Il volume mostra come lo svolgersi di questa vicenda sia assai meno frammentario e discontinuo di quanto talora si presuma. Il problema antropologico è al centro di un vivace ed aspro dibattito che, dal fiorire dell'antropologia all'epoca di Herder (...) e Kant, giunge, attraversando l'intero sviluppo del pensiero ottocentesco e in particolare le opere di Hegel, Marx, Darwin e Nietzsche, fino all'«antropologia filosofica» e alla critica dell’«antropologismo» da parte di Husserl e Heidegger. E’ su questo sfondo tematico che si comprendono molti degli sviluppi novecenteschi e contemporanei. (shrink)

This paper intends to evaluate the relationship Foucault establishes regarding modernity, taking as guide-line his link with Kant's thought. We approach, at a first moment, the interpretation Foucault gives from Kant in the period he was writing The Order of Things, remarking the tension between the critical project and the Kantian antropologism and, in a second moment, we question his relationship to Kant through some of his last texts, where Foucault is looking for an "ontology of the present".Este artigo pretende (...) avaliar a relação que Foucault estabelece com a modernidade, tendo como fio condutor seu vínculo com o pensamento de Kant. Aborda-se, num primeiro momento, a leitura que Foucault faz de Kant na época em que estava escrevendo As Palavras e as Coisas, observando uma tensão entre o projeto crítico e o antropologismo kantiano e, num segundo momento, interroga-se sua relação com Kant a partir de alguns de seus últimos textos, nos quais Foucault procura uma "ontologia do presente".
