A particular kind of communication with God is the linguistic form of prayer. The theoretical analysis of each act of communication calls for a reference to the applied theory of communication. In reference to prayer it is appropriate, inasmuch as we accept the standpoint according to which the relations between God and man should be described in line with the achievements of science (A. Peacocke). Thus Peacocke describes the communication between God and man. His description is based on the assumption (...) about God\'s self-limitation to adjust to His recipient. This assumption results from the acceptance of the relay theory of communication. According to this theory, the contents of the recipients\' message (in this case God) must be reproduced by the recipient (in this case man). This theory is inappropriate to describe the acts of communication between God and man. The theory of relevancy is more appropriate for the description of this kind of relation of communication. According to this theory, it is the recipient that decides about the contents of the message. The theory does not require that self-limitation should be assumed when describing prayer as an act of communication with God. According to this theory, God, being the addressee of the acts of prayer fully understands the contents and intentions of the message. Man (the sender) may only hope that he has appropriately performed an act of communication. (shrink)

Communication is perceived as a means of obtaining knowledge possessed by others and transmitting this knowledge from subject to subject. This process takes place in a communication area defined by a variety of parameters. The communication content (message) transmitted in the course of communication requires consideration of many aspects, therefore its description must take place in many aspects of the communication area.Messages can be distinguished in three dimensions of the communication area: (1) semantic (referential, informative); (2) subjective (individual) and (3) (...) cultural (social). Communication theory based on the multi-dimensional character of the communication area should enable the resolution of important problems. For instance in the first dimension it should be able to solve issues relating to the transmission of the semantic properties of a message and the connected problem of the constancy of the subjective reference in successive acts of the communication process; in the second, the problem of the variability of subjective content resulting from the diversity of experience and linguistic competence; in the third, the problem concerning the existence of a community of cultural meanings and the problem concerning the mechanisms of building common representations of the world.The essay also seeks to specify theories enabling cohesive descriptions of the discussed message dimensions in keeping with the adopted naturalistic methodological and ontological assumptions. Pluralism is widely appealed to in many areas of philosophy of science, though what is meant by ‘pluralism’ may profoundly vary. Because explanations of behaviour have been a favoured target for pluralistic theses, the sciences of behaviour offer a rich context in which to further investigate pluralism. This is what the topical collection The Biology of Behaviour: Explanatory pluralism across the life sciences is about. In the present introduction, we briefly review major strands of pluralist theses and their motivations. The notion of conceptual system is usually connected with criticism or defence of relativism but sometimes the notion appears in discussion on realism/anti-realism. The aim of the article is: (1) to present connection between understanding of notion of conceptual system and ways of understanding of realism/anti-realism; (2) to present that notion may constitute a foundation of argument for realism, although usually it is taken as argument for anti-realism. Investigations of the article create the basis for discussion of the conception of (...) relativity proposed by Adam Grobler in Truth and Relativity. (shrink)

Artykuł prezentuje sposoby pozyskiwania klienta i działania na rzecz jego utrzymania przy pomocy nowych technologii i nowych mediów. Wykazano, iż zarządzanie relacjami z klientem jest pojęciem obszernym ze względu na różnorodność sytuacji, w których kontaktuje się on z przedsiębiorstwem. Zaprezentowano, iż zmiany technologiczne, a zwłaszcza dokonujące się w dynamicznym tempie umasowienie Internetu, przeobrażają oblicza firm i standardy obsługi klienta w stopniu niespotykanym we wcześniejszych pokoleniach. Przedstawiono również, że utrzymanie klienta jest ważniejsze niż pozyskanie nowego – zgodnie z zasadą V. Pareto. (...) Artykuł składa się z czterech rozdziałów. Pierwszy z nich opisuje rozwój metod komunikacji z klientem, które otworzyły się przed przedsiębiorstwami w związku z rozwojem Internetu. Drugi stanowi przegląd metod działań marketingowych polepszających statystyki pozyskiwania i utrzymywania klientów. W trzecim rozdziale opisano strategię zarządzania relacjami z klientami oraz scharakteryzowano typową budowę systemu informatycznego, wspomagającego realizację tejże strategii. Czwarty rozdział stanowi próbę uzasadnienia celowości nakładów ponoszonych na utrzymanie klientów. (shrink)

Este trabajo surge a partir de la investigación general de las técnicas hidropónicas teniendo en cuenta sus ventajas y desventajas para de esta forma poder encontrar aquel factor determinante a través de una comparación de técnicas hidropónicas que permitan clasificarlas y escoger la mejor opción que genere menos impacto ambiental negativo y demuestre ser más productivo en los entornos urbanos. Adicionalmente, un factor determinante en las ciudades es su espacio limitado por lo que la mejor opción también deberá incluir un (...) óptimo manejo del espacio que permita a casi cualquier individuo poder aplicarlos desde su entorno sin recurrir a excesivas modificaciones. Como principal resultado se escogió a la Hidroponía recirculante como método predominante por los excelentes resultados que se obtienen con relación a los demás, adicionalmente, este puede ser fácilmente aplicado en los ambientes urbanos por su versatilidad y buen manejo de recursos. Présentation de deux octadrachmes d'or, qui montrent au droit les portraits géminés d'un tout jeune roi, Antiochos, et d'une reine, dont l'effigie est placée au premier plan. On peut considérer que ce jeune Antiochos est un fils de Séleucos IV, qui disparut le 3 septembre 175, victime d'Héliodore. Après un règne de quelques semaines, il fut peut-être adopté et nommé co-régent par Antiochos IV, puis mis à mort par ce dernier en 170. La reine représentée sur les deux octadrachmes ne (...) peut être que la mère du jeune souverain, Laodice, qu'on peut identifier comme la fille d'Antiochos III et la femme d'Antiochos l'aîné, de Séleucos IV et d'Antiochos IV, ses frères. Commentaire des deux portraits géminés et réflexions sur le monnayage relativement abondant du jeune Antiochos. (shrink)

Après la muthologia catalogique ou diégétique dans les romans sophistiques de Tatius et Longus, cette étude porte sur katalegein chez Tatius et Héliodore, puis sur les muthoi en catalogue chez Chariton et Héliodore, avant d’observer les Éphésiaques de Xénophon, en tant que catalogue ou résumé. Paradoxalement, les deux romans méta-fictionnels, qui explicitent leur énonciation mythologique en catalogue dès le préambule, Tatius et Longus, rejoignent le roman le plus linéaire, celui de Xénophon, dont la structure en catalogue est affirmée, sans désignation (...) explicite, à la fin du récit.Fictional Forms and Functions of Muthologia: Catalogue Narrations and Summaries in the Ancient Greek Novels. After catalogic or diegetic muthologia in the sophistic novels of Tatius and Longus, this study compares the uses of katalegein in Tatius and Heliodor and considers the muthoi catalogue in Chariton and Heliodor, before examining Xenophon’s Ephesiacs as a catalogue or summary. The paradox is that the two meta-fictional novels, by Tatius and Longus, which make explicit their catalogical structure from the introduction onwards, are similar to the most linear one, by Xenophon, which exhibits its catalogical structure, without naming it, at the end. Un passage assez obscur de la correspondance de Cicéron, ad AIL, IX, 9,4, paraît bien indiquer qu'Atticus, qu'il y fût propriétaire ou locataire, tirait de Délos des revenus fonciers. 53. Hèliodore, Éthiopiques, /, 22,2 et la vision littéraire de Délos à l'époque impériale. Chariclée prétend que Théagène et elle étaient tenus d'aller à Délos déposer leurs charges de prêtresse d'Artémis et de prêtre d'Apollon à (...) Éphèse. C'est un mensonge, et qui ne semble se rapporter à aucun rite réel. Ce passage des Éthiopiques n'apporte donc rien à l'histoire religieuse de Délos ; comme d'autres textes de l'époque impériale, il nous instruit de l'idée qu'alors on se faisait de l'île au passé illustre mais pour lors déchue ; rapprochements avec les textes sur l'oracle d'Apollon Délien. 54. Toujours la géranos. Retour sur une position antérieure : le bijou dit «la dénommée géranos» dans les inventaires de l'Artémision doit cette désignation approximative à une quelconque ressemblance avec la danse instituée par Thésée. — Si le nom de «géranos» qu'elle porte fait bien référence à l'oiseau du même nom, il pourrait s'expliquer par la date automnale de son institution par Thésée, saison connue pour être celle du cri de la grue. 55. Une idée de plus sur l'inscription archaïque de la base du Colosse. On propose que l'exploit dont se vantent les dédicants du Colosse d'Apollon dans l'énigmatique inscription archaïque «je suis du même marbre, la statue et la base» ne s'étende que par référence à l'art égyptien que les Grecs ont connu à la même époque et auquel ils associent le monolithisme ; mais qu'ils n'atteignent à ce monolithisme statuaire que par une de ces ambiguïtés volontaires que le grec nomme επαμφοτερίζειν : on n'aurait donc pas à choisir, comme le font tous les commentateurs, entre les deux sens possibles de του αύτου λίθου, «du même genre de marbre» ou «du même bloc de marbre», puisque ce serait pour ce double sens même que l'expression aurait été préférée à d'autres locutions possibles et non ambiguës.
