Abstract

Current issues of cooperation of China and Turkmenistan are analyzed. The article contains analysis of the energy aspects between the two countries in the process of closer economic cooperation in Central Asia, contradictions of their cooperation are explored. In the article analysis of the nature of economic and geopolitical interests of the two countries has the most important place. The major areas of cooperation of China and Turkmenistan within the energy sector are clarified.Purpose of the article – to analyze the economic and geopolitical interests of the two countries within the framework of energy cooperation and to identify the degree of these relations’ influence on the regional system.
