Culture Coherence and Regional Economic Cooperation in Northeast Asia

Abstract

Mainland China, Hong Kong, China Taiwan, Japan, South Korea now use of Chinese characters, and people's attitude is usually subject to the influence of Confucianism, it is natural to form a common area. In this occurs under similar ideology or regional economic cooperation is the trend of economic agreements, and has good prospects of its development. Members of cultural integration and co-operative attitude incurred for the stability of regional economic cooperation has a positive and far-reaching impact: Unless Member States when it reached a very good initial willingness to cooperate, or each country's willingness to cooperate dynamics and the corresponding changes in the economic performance of the very rules, and will eventually lead to the collapse of regional economic cooperation. China , Japan, South Korea constitute the sphere in which Chinese characters are used and the ideology of Confucianism is the common denominator in determining the working attitude of people within the sphere . The emergence of an economic cooperation, or more specifically a regional economic agreement, compatible with this ideology is not only promising but inevitable. Cultural coherence among member countries and the cooperative attitude cultivated by it has a profound and positive impact on the stability of regional economic cooperation. Except for perfect alignment of the initial cooperativeness among its constituents, the dynamics of each country's cooperative attitude and the associated economic performance is very irregular and eventually leads to the collapse of the regional economic cooperation
