Beyond Materialism and Idealism

Abstract

In this paper I wish to offer some reflections on a possible solution to the perennial problem of materialism and idealism as mutually exclusive worldviews. The problem will be set in the context of the recent work of David Bohm and Edgar Morin, two leading representatives of the new science.
