Guilhen Antier | Résumé : Lacan décèle en Luther un artisan de la modernité sans laquelle l’invention freudienne n’aurait pas eu lieu. Une articulation des thématiques luthériennes de la déréliction, de la prédestination et de la mort de Dieu avec la relecture lacanienne du mythe freudien du meurtre du Père au moyen des concepts de loi, désir et jouissance, permet d’explorer et de redéployer différentes facettes d’un héritage théologique dont la psychanalyse est tributaire et qu’elle revisite pour en mettre à jour des aspects insoupçonnés. En retour, expliciter la référence de Lacan à Luther en remontant à la source luthérienne en tant que telle ouvre la voie à un dialogue entre les perspectives théologique et psychanalytique en vue de proposer une compréhension renouvelée de la foi, au nouage de la croyance et de la confiance. |: Lacan finds in Luther an architect of modernity without which the Freudian invention would not have taken place. An articulation of Lutheran themes such as dereliction, predestination and the death of God, with topics such as law, desire and jouissance in Lacan’s rereading of the Freudian myth of the murder of the Father, leads to explain and redeploy various facets of a theological heritage which psychoanalysis revisits in order to enlight some of its unsuspected aspects. In return, explicating Lacan’s reference to Luther by going back to the Lutheran source as such opens the way to a dialogue between the theological and the psychoanalytic perspectives in order to propose a renewed understanding of faith, between belief and trust.
