Williams, Andreas Neef, Suthathip Riwthong, Walaya Sangchan & Christian Grovermann - 2012 - Agriculture and Human Values 29 (4):519-529.
In response to the chronic overuse and misuse of pesticides in agriculture, governments in Southeast Asia have sought to improve food safety by introducing public standards of good agricultural practices (GAP). Using quantitative farm-level data from an intensive horticultural production system in northern Thailand, we test if fruit and vegetable producers who follow the public GAP standard use fewer and less hazardous pesticides than producers who do not adhere to the standard. The results show that this is not the case. (...)

The Evaluation of Fir'sah Narration According to Ahl al-Sunnah and Shia in the Context of Common Hadiths II: Shiite Narrations.Mustafa Tatli - 2022 - Tasavvur - Tekirdag Theology Journal 8 (2):781-805.
The common narrations in the main hadith books in the tradition of Ahl as-Sunnah and Shia are an essential subject of examination in determining the relations within and between sects. In the significant part of these narrations, the two madhhabs differ by attributing different meanings to the common hadiths. It is understood that Shia's practices such as walaya, the necessity of the imam, being innocent and muhaddath of the imams are proven especially in the common hadiths related to the (...)

Discussions on Forms and Continuity of Divine Revelation in Tafsir and Sufi Literature.Ahmet KÜÇÜK & Mohammd Ajmal HANİF - 2022 - Fırat Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Dergisi 27 (1):23-35.
Divine revelation (waḥy), as a Qur'anic and religious concept in exegetical sources, isusually mentioned together with the institution of Prophethood (nubuwwa). Revelation came to itsend with the end of Prophethood. Therefore, although some have evaluated inspiration (ilhām) andtrue dream (ruʾyā sādiqa) within the this context of revelation, according to most of Islamic scholars,it is not permissible to refer to the recevings of the divinely saints as revelation. Revelation, for whichthe holy Qur'an designates three pattern of descension, is discussed also in (...)
