Vom 15. bis 19. September 2010 fand in Sarajevo der XXVIII. Internationale Hegel-Kongress der Internationalen Hegel-Gesellschaft zum Thema „Hegel und die Moderne” statt. It was Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel who referred to family as the precedent of citizenship, but the authors here adopt a more extended approach claiming that the Cultural and Identity politics in Bosnia can be recognized as politicizing of the ethno-family maxim. With the return of identity as a core activity in world politics, the already unsettled environment in Bosnia gains in its intensity.
