Varieties of self-experience: a comparative phenomenology of melancholia, mania, and schizophrenia, Part I.Louis Sass - 2013 - Journal of Consciousness Studies 20 (7-8):7-8.
This paper provides a critical survey of some subtle and often overlooked disturbances of self-experience that can occur in schizophrenia, melancholia, and mania. The goal is to better understand both similarities and differences between these conditions. We present classical and contemporary studies, mostly from the phenomenological tradition, and illustrate these with patient reports. Experiential changes in five domains of selfhood are considered: Cognition, Self-Awareness, Bodily Experiences, Demarcation/Transitivism, and Existential Reorientation. We discuss: I. major differences involving self-experience between schizophrenia and (...)

"Reduplikative Identität": der Schlüssel zu Schellings reifer Philosophie.Manfred Frank - 2018 - Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt: Frommann-Holzboog.
English summary: It was not until the publication of Schelling''s Munich and Berlin lectures that we learned the decisive source for his theory of an identity of identity or identity doubled in itself. Schelling referred to what he called an older logic that was still acquainted with the figure of reduplication, for instance in Leibniz and Wolff. Philosophers in this tradition employed this term to refer to the specification of an aspect under which the subject-term is being considered. An often (...)

    Applicative Constructions.David A. Peterson - 2006 - Oxford University Press UK.
This book presents the first systematic typological analysis of applicatives across African, American Indian, and East Asian languages. It is also the first to address their functions in discourse, the derivation of their semantic and syntactic properties, and how and why they have changed over time.Applicative constructions are typically described as transitivizing because they allow an intransitive base verb to have a direct object. The term originates from the seventeenth-century missionary grammars of Uto-Aztecan languages. Constructions designated as prepositional, benefactive, and (...)

    Gagner la Heimatlosigkeit.Felicetti Ricci - 2008 - Heidegger Studies 24:61-102.
