Chinese Aesthetic Attitude Renovation under the Influence of Buddhist Mind Philosophy

Abstract

Chinese traditional aesthetics in mind under the sway of traditional natural reflection of the lack of real thinking. Here is a basic aesthetic form, "Heaven Hop"; things of that nature is that it reflects the U.S. with "day" or "Road", that is an absolute natural as a body meet; the United States not be aware of the subjective meaning . Mind on the introduction of Buddhism and the penetration of the Chinese nation with a true spirit of reflection. Sui and Tang dynasties art have a significantly different with the traditional aesthetic experience, the so-called "blend state of mind." "State of mind blend" of aesthetic experience on the basis of the structure built on reflection, it is in terms of form or content are derived directly from the spirit of Zen Buddhism reflection. Traditional Chinese aesthetics lacks a true reflection due to the natural thinking mode of which the dominant aesthetic attitude is a "concord between Tian and Ren ." The beauty of a thing then is essentially at its correspondence with 'Tian 'or' Tao ', namely, the original nature. The subjectivity of beauty is lost in such a tradition reasonably,. However, after Sui and Tang dynasties, the Buddhist mind philosophy introduces a tree spiritual reflection into Chinese culture which brings Chinese art and literature a new aesthetic experience: the "fusion of Xin and Jing ." Expounding the structure of this aesthetic experience, this paper makes clear that it is based upon a spiritual reflection, a reflection comes directly from Buddhism either in its form or material
