On the Confucianism as "The Study Showing Ren "

Abstract

In this paper, through the history of Confucian scholars in the "for Oneself," the discussion on the study and analysis, and contact Kant's moral self-discipline and freedom of discussion, try to reveal and elucidate Confucianism as a "for Oneself," meaning and its significance, in order to deepen people's awareness and understanding of Confucianism. Through the investigation and analysis of the historic Confucianists' explanation on "the Study Showing Ren ", the paper, drawing support from Kant's discussion on the moral self-discipline and freedom, tries to show and elucidate the implication and significance of Confucianism as "the Study Showing Ren ". The author expects that the Confucianism may be understood more deeply
