Abstract

A la croisée de la philosophie des mathématiques et de l'histoire des sciences, cette étude montre comment Christophorus Clavius s'approprie les "Eléments" d'Euclide, à une période charnière entre tradition et modernité. Elle est suivie de la traduction du livre V qui contient la théorie des proportions.
