The dilemma «globalism-alter-globalizm» in the context of crisis tendencies of globalization

Abstract

The main positive and negative consequences of globalization, the reason of occurrence of the dilemma «globalism-alter-globalizm» are considered. The context «alter-globalizm», its main objectives and missions are discovered. Network features of organization structure of movement, structure of participants and a variety of their views on further globalization developments are investigated. Their program and types of actions is considered, also. The ideological platform and financing sources of movement are analyzed. Alter-globalization came to public attention through a series of global events which erupted into the world news. Alter-globalization activists have built a truly global movement that has gathered citizens, committed intellectuals, indigenous, farmers and NGOs against neoliberal policies in street demonstrations and Social Forums all over the world, from Bangalore and Seattle to Copenhagen and Dakar. The alter-globalization movement is very perspective nowadays because it is supported in many countries. Its activists strive to contribute to the emergence of an international public space to solve the major problems of our era, be it climate change or financial transactions. But their main purpose – to create alternative model of globalization. Thus, there is a dilemma «globalism-alter-globalizm». This dilemma is a mirror of many modern world processes. For this reason its consideration becomes actual today. The results of this work can be used in theoretical researches and for analyze the alter-globalization organisations.
