Abstract

Should be based on substance and process of globalization, to determine whether Marx's theory of globalization. The essence of globalization is the market economy mechanism beyond the boundaries of the nation-state within the global expansion and deepening, which gradually integrated world economy and lead to national political and cultural interaction within the world. The historical process of globalization can be divided into two phases. Marx's theory of globalization is just the first phase of the theoretical grasp of globalization, which includes the "world market" and "World History" in two parts. This paper is going to discuss whether Marx initiates a theory of globalization according to the essence and course of globalization. The essence of globalization is that the mechanism of market economy develops and deepens itself world wide, exceeding the limits of nation-state. The course of globalization, actually, could be divided into two phases. Marx's theory of globalization then is exactly a theoretical comprehension of the first phase of globalization, including its two parts: the theory of world market and theory of world history
