Abstract
The article is devoted to the institutionalization of the institute of higher education in the history of our civilization. The way of sozialization and changes of the institution in different periods is analyzed in the light of the transformation of the mission of the University, the dynamics of its purpose in society. New features of higher education found expression in new practices of specific realness played representation of new features and forms of education. The way of elite university, closed institute to modern transnational education is a movement which simultaneously reflects the dynamics of the society and its selfdevelopment. Attention is also focused on the history of the university, which began from the first Studiumgenerale in XIXII centuries. The article presents an analysis of the phenomenon genesis of University in the context of sociohistorical and cultural transformations. It is noted that the university as a kind of model of culture includes many original layers and layers that reflect the uniqueness of a particular environment in which occurred the formation of the University and which influenced the feature of its structure, forms, tools and methods of training and education. University as a higher education institution has been developed thanks to state that it has funded, monitored compliance with all standards of its free, provided by highly trained teachers and students and fully contributed to its success. The new university was both a research, cultural and professional institution.
