The Personality Structure of Confucianism and Its Psychological Developing

Abstract

Confucianism is the core of life "adult." "Adult" form factor and how the structure? This is a theoretical understanding of Confucianism, the Chinese spirit of the important aspects. Articles from the Confucian classics to start, summarize the structure of personality factors as "benevolence", "li", "know" three factors. "Benevolence", "li", "knowledge" reflects the "virtue" attribute of personality interaction determines the structure of Confucian 'benevolence' ultimate goal and the "attitude to life" social function - "life" when feasible, external Utilitarian, to achieve " outside the King ";" life "is not feasible, beyond the inner, perfect soul. "Benevolence", "li", "know" the full development and "attitude to life" is the saint, a gentleman; not fully developed, that is for the people; lack was the villain. Article and then try to expand from the Confucian personality structure of the modern psychological sense of personality structure theory. As many scholars shown that the key issue of Confucianism on life was on making individual to he fully human in the ethical sense . So theoretically, a problem appears-what was the personality structure of fully human to Confucianism? If we can have some ideas about it, the finding can highlight the Confucianism and psychological life world of Chinese people. This paper presented the personality structure of Confucianism perspective in psychology. The key factors of personality of Confucianism, Benevolence , Ritual , and Intelligence were gotten based on the analyzing the classics of Confucianism. The three factors are reciprocal and show the feature of virtue. If they are developed it can make individual to seek ultimate spirituality of Way and has the social function of understanding fate : facing the fate , realizing that it is "shiming" what individual should and zhiming, he was fully human. Based on these finding, this paper tried to present a model of personality structure of psychology, which was different from the West approaches. It has some implications to psychology
