Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the Luo light "philosophy of life" issues for the modern Confucian beyond exploration. Luo light beyond the traditional form of Confucianism as "ethical beyond", and accordingly this proposed "life philosophy" of the "body of beyond." "Life philosophy" beyond the spirit is not reflected in the break with the Confucian tradition, but rather to re-interpretation of Confucianism as the basis for the Confucian independent "life and life" of metaphysics, and re-interpretation of the moral theory based on the start. Beyond this life on the ultimate fate of faith toward God, from the teachings of the Law on the light echo has been maintained for three generations of Confucian belief in God to judge the history of philosophy, will be reflected through the theory of Confucian philosophy with Shihlin expectations. It should be said, Lo light of the show with the new Scholastic philosophy of Chinese culture and Christianity quest beyond the tendency of the road, is indeed a classic, worthy of attention the idea that the way forward and promote Chinese culture "within the beyond" theory Modern Neo-Confucianism, opposed to the spirit of Western philosophy beyond the interpretation of Chinese culture overseas scholar of Ames, and some of the concerns related to issues of continental scholars, together forming a modern Chinese philosophy of Confucianism beyond the contemplation of the whole problem. This paper aims to discuss Lo Kuang's view about Confucian transcendence problem from his "Philosophy of life". In his opinion, the traditional way of Confucian transcendence is "ethical transcendence", while the way in his "Philosophy of Life" is "ontological transcendence "opposed to that. Lo Kuang's way of transcendence is not apart from Confucian tradition, but based on a new interpretation of its metaphysics and ethics. Corresponding to his judgments on the history of Confucianism, his theory of transcendence goes towards Christian faith in the final ending, and shows the expectation to help Confucianism and Scholasticism interacting with each other. The way of Lo Kuang's transcendence, showing the Neo-scholastic effort to integrate Confucianism and Scholasticism, is one typical view of transcendence in modern Chinese philosophy. This way of thinking , together with Neo-Confucianism and sinologist abroad, forms the whole sight of modern Chinese philosophy on traditional Confucian transcendence problem
