Abstract

Maurice Merleau-Ponty e Henri Maldiney estão em profundo acordo, enquanto fenomenólogos, relativamente à determinação da estética e da filosofia da arte. Contudo, eles diferem ligeiramente sobre a própria noção de sensação (aisthesis) enquanto que esta é a origem da obra de arte. Para um, Merkeau-Ponty, o horizonte do sensível e da sensação é dito em termos de "carne"; para o outro, Henry Maldiney, o horizonte do sentir, no qual a obra de arte toma forma, é o "ritmo", enquanto estrutura em movimento. Ambos dão pleno sentido a uma fenomenología da arte, como ela surge e floresce na segunda metade do século XX. Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Henri Maldiney are in profound agreement as phenomenolists and in regard specifically to aesthetics and the philosophy of art. Nevertheless they differ somewhat when it comes to the notion of sensation (aisthesis) concerning its role in constituting the origen of works of art. For Merleau-Ponty, the horizon of the sensible and sensation is the "flesh", whilst Maldiney conceives the horizon of feeling in which works of art takes form as "rhythm", relating to the structure in movement. Both offer full significance to the phenomenolgy of art as it survived and grew in development in the second half of the 20th century
