Abstract

O presente artigo examina a resposta dada por Schelling à pergunta de como é possível que uma acção individual possa realizar a inclinação natural do homem para o mal, convertendo a dita acção num "malum morale". Na sua metafísica do mal, de 1809, Schelling procura articular a doutrina moral kantiana do acto inteligível com o resultado das suas investigações metafísicas sobre a essência da liberdade humana, para apresentar o dispositivo ontológico que torne possível a imputação moral das nossas acções individuais. Uma análise demorada desta articulação permite uma abordagem metafísica à investigação do mal moral a partir da teoria schellingiana do mal como inversão positiva dos princípios constitutivos do ser humano. Isto é não só uma contribuição para o campo da metafísica, mas significa também um contributo para a dilucidação da problemática ética em torno do mal. /// This paper analyses the answer given by Schelling to the question of how is it possible that an individual action can fulfill man's natural inclination towards evil, converting that action in a "malum morale". In his 1809 Metaphysics of Evil Schelling tries to link the kantian moral doctrine of the intelligible act with the result of his metaphysical investigations on the essence of human freedom, to present the ontological apparatus which makes possible the moral imputation of our own individual actions. A lengthy analysis of this thesis allows a metaphysical approach to the investigation of moral evil having as starting point Schelling's theory of evil as positive inversion of the constitutive principles of the human being. This is not only a contribution to the domain of metaphysics, but it constitutes also a contribution towards elucidation of the ethical set of problems posed by evil. /// En el presente artículo se examina la respuesta dada por Schelling a la pregunta córno es posible que una acción individual pueda realizar la inclinación natural dei hombre hacia el mal, convirtiendo dicha acción en un malum morale. En su metafísica dei mal de 1809 Schelling intenta articular la doctrina moral kantiana dei acto inteligible con el resultado de sus investigaciones metafísicas sobre la esencia de la libertad humana, para ofrecer el dispositivo ontológico que haga posible la imputación moral de nuestras acciones individuales. Un examen detenido de esta articulación permite una aproximación metafisica a la investigación dei mal moral a partir de la teoría schellingiana dei mal como inversión positiva de los principios constitutivos dei ser humano. Esto no sólo es un aporte ai campo de la metafísica, sino que también significa una contribución a la dilucidación de la problemática ética en torno ai mal.
