Less Is More—Cyclists-Triathlete’s 30 min Cycling Time-Trial Performance Is Impaired With Multiple Feedback Compared to a Single Feedback.Freya Bayne, Sebastien Racinais, Katya Mileva, Steve Hunter & Nadia Gaoua - 2020 - Frontiers in Psychology 11.
Purpose: The purpose of this article was to compare different modes of feedback on 30 min cycling time-trial performance in non-cyclist’s and cyclists-triathletes, and investigate cyclists-triathlete’s information acquisition. Methods: 20 participants performed two 30 min self-paced cycling time-trials with either a single feedback or multiple feedback. Cyclists-triathlete’s information acquisition was also monitored during the multiple feedback trial via an eye tracker. Perceptual measurements of task motivation, ratings of perceived exertion and affect were collected every 5 min. Performance variables and heart rate (...)

Mileva — a Dialogue About General Relativity as Regional.Johan Gamper - manuscript
In this dialogue, Mileva and Albert start to talk about physics and its subject matter, the physical. They end up in a situation that permits causal dependence between separate ontological domains. In this possible world, they continue talking. First, they Socratically agree that the physical is physical and only physical. Then, they call the physical an ontologically homogeneous domain. They then generalise the principle that the physical is causally unaffected by anything non-physical, into the principle that ontologically homogeneous domains (...)

Keine Mutter der Relativitätstheorie.Frank Stäudner - 1995 - NTM Zeitschrift für Geschichte der Wissenschaften, Technik und Medizin 3 (1):45-54.
During the last decade it has been widely claimed that Mileva Marić, Albert Einsteins first wife, made essential contributions to the scientific papers of theannus mirabilis 1905. But the remaining documents do not support this view. Drawing that picture of her as ‘the mother of relativity’ even though means pushing things too far.

    Demystifying Tesla: W. Bernard Carlson: Tesla: Inventor of the electrical age. Princeton: Princeton University Press, 2013, xiii+500pp, $29.95, £19.95 HB.Graeme Gooday - 2014 - Metascience 23 (3):649-652.
Nikola Tesla (1856–1943) is surely one of the more remarkable figures in the story of global electrification. Rivalling Thomas Edison for the title of chief Wizard, both in his own time and ours, almost every invention of modern life has at some point been attributed to Tesla: from the communications media of telephone, fax, radio, and television, through the military utilities of radar and remote-control weapons, and (most plausibly) the systems of alternate current generation and transmission that power our world.
