    Looking back.Michael Antolović & Slobodan Sadžakov - 2023 - Metodicki Ogledi 29 (2):55-76.
The paper analyzes the implementation of the “Bologna reform” of higher education in the Republic of Serbia during the last fifteen years. Emphasizing neoliberalism as the ideological basis of the reform, the authors subjected the reform to a critical analysis of its normative goals and achieved achievements. The authors conclude that the restructuring of universities based on market principles and their transformation into for-profit organizations leads to the gradual collapse of the basic function of a modern university embodied in the (...)

“We, the Weary Souls” – Werner Sombart as a Critic of Modern Culture.Michael Antolović - 2020 - Filozofska Istrazivanja 39 (4):795-810.
Although he primarily remained acknowledged as an authoritative theoretician of capitalism and one of the ‘founding fathers’ of sociology as a scientific discipline in Germany, Werner Sombart dedicated a significant amount of attention to the critique of modern culture that coincided with his withdrawal from the active participation in political life during the beginning of the twentieth century. After he failed to motivate German social democracy to carry out a social reform, and following a very negative impression he got in (...)

Calculating impact factor: How bibliographical classification of journal items affects the impact factor of large and small journals.Rajna Golubic, Mihael Rudes, Natasa Kovacic, Matko Marusic & Ana Marusic - 2008 - Science and Engineering Ethics 14 (1):41-49.
As bibliographical classification of published journal items affects the denominator in this equation, we investigated how the numerator and denominator of the impact factor equation were generated for representative journals in two categories of the Journal Citation Reports. We performed a full text search of the 1st-ranked journal in 2004 JCR category “Medicine, General and Internal” and 61st-ranked journal, 1st-ranked journal in category “Multidisciplinary Sciences” and journal with a relative rank of CMJ. Large journals published more items categorized by Web (...)

Elements of Philosophy of Language in Constantin Noica’s Texts.Dorel Mihael Fînaru - 2017 - Annals of Philosophy, Social and Human Disciplines 2 (1):5-15.
Various notions of philosophy of language are present constantly in the whole work of Constantin Noica. His concerns are directed towards the language as a pivotal human ability and as a fundamental form of culture, towards the philosophy and the hermeneutics of the poetic language (especially of Eminescu’s language), as well as towards some linguistic and philosophical concepts related to the Romanian language as a historical language.

Logik und kalkül. Zur kritik France vebers an der mathematischen logik.Andrej Ule - 2002 - Grazer Philosophische Studien 64 (1):119-135.
In this paper I present and discuss the main objections of France Veber (1890- 1975) against mathematical logic in general and the work of Mihael Marki (1864-1939), the first modern logician in Slovenia, in particular. Marki tried to develop an algebra of logic in the spirit of Boole and Schröder, and thereby to provide an axiomatic system of syllogistics with the least number of axioms. Veber's general objection to this project was that it tries to represent the essential qualitative (...)
