the concept of God perfect being theology one doctrine, agreed on by Jews, Christians, and Muslims ‐ that God is, in some sense, absolutely perfect conception of God from which perfect being theology begins ‐ varying considerably Christian contribution to medieval philosophical theology ‐ that perfect being theology comes into its own Islamic theology ‐ conclusions from God's absolute unity (tawhid), than exploring consequences of his perfection epistemological project of Descartes' Meditations on First Philosophy Spinoza denying God's omniscience ‐ same idea of God, that Anselm and Descartes used to affirm it contemporary perfect being theology ‐ concentrating primarily on discussions of individual alleged perfections
