Abstract

Shaanxi industrial development, change and 1960s, seventies country "third line" construction are closely related. In the "third line" during the construction period, the state's strong efforts to direct investment on a large scale expansion of industrial construction, Shaanxi industry "jump" type into the ranks of modern industrialization. At the same time, the defense industry as the mainstay of modern industrial economic structure of Shaanxi Province has improved steadily. However, the Shaanxi industry is the product of a planned economy, so there are many issues that impede economic development, we need to be further addressed. After the reforms, with the establishment of socialist market economy, increasingly, the development of industrial economy of Shaanxi ushered in another new historical opportunity. The development of Shaanxi industry has a close relationship with the "National Defense Construction in the Remote Regions away from the Coastal Areas" in l960s and l970s. By means of direct investing largely and expanding industrial constructing in force, the state power made Shaanxi industry come into the rank of modern industry with the mode of leaping and form an industrial economic system with the characteristic of national defense industry taking the key role. Shaanxi industrial economy, as the product of commanding economy, faces many problems which block its development and establishing market economy brings the historical chance to solve these problems and speed up its economic development
