Abstract

The adoption of the Constitution is an important step in the democratic transition, but some researchers challenge the necessity of its immediate adoption by a young state and its influence on the democratic regime establishment. The specific of further constitutional process in the transition countries do not spark researchers’ interest, though its detailed analysis gives grounds to affirm the existence of the relationship between the level of democratic institutions development and the radicality of constitutional reforms.
