Abstract

The article shows the importance of art projects for creating murals when decorating the facades of city buildings and using them to form and promote a territorial brand. The case studies of the Minsk Murals show the significance of the works of foreign artists in the perception, assessment and visual representation of the collective identity of citizens, the reaction to which can become the basis for polarizing public opinion and stimulating civic activity of Minsk residents.
