Tianjin's Basic Strategy in the Economic Development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Area

Abstract

Tianjin is located in the center of the Bohai Sea, is the city of Beijing and Tianjin and the Bohai Sea with the intersection of the city with convenient transportation, port function is highlighted, resources are more abundant, well-developed manufacturing sector. Relying on good comparative advantages, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei to strengthen the economic union, to form the overall advantages of economic integration driven by the Bohai Sea, and promote the coordinated development of national regional economy has a very important role. In the new round of regional economic development, according to rely on to Beijing and Hebei, Tianjin, radiation Bohai Sea, facing the Northeast Asia, the orientation toward the world, insist on close to Beijing, coordinated north-south, Western Union East Extension, a common development approach, focusing on Tianjin Port to pay close attention to the leading Metropolitan three-dimensional transport system; accelerate the construction of Binhai New Area, the formation of an open economy experimental demonstration area; to build a modern manufacturing base for the world; build eco-city suitable for living, etc. . Located at the middle of Bohai Gulf coast, Tianjin is on the axis of Beijing, Tianjin and the coastline city constellation. It enjoys efficient communication, rich resources, a fully developed industry, and China's largest container wharf. With such an advantage, it is important for Tianjin to enhance its economic link between Beijing and Hebei, and speed up the economic amalgamation of the Golden Coast. Hence is Tianjin's mission in the new round regional economic development: facing Northeast Asia then the global market, go alongside with Beijing and radiate its influence to both coast and inland as well. Its key stones shall lie in four aspect then: firstly, to build the three dimensional Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei metropolitan traffic system; secondly, to quicken the construction of Binghai new area, the open economic experimental demonstrating area of ​​the city; thirdly, to build a modem manufacture center opening to the world; lastly, to build an ecological city to better the city's inhabitance
