Abstract

Les professionnels des relations publiques trouvent la recherche universitaire fort spéculative et les chercheurs se disent troublés par l'utilisation managériale de la communication. Une approche historique est proposée de la construction relationnelle des deux groupes d'acteurs, en rapport avec les sciences sociales. Un rapprochement supposerait une recomposition de leurs relations intergroupales.Public relations professionals tend to consider university research as being speculative while many researchers are disturbed by the way managers use communication. A historical approach permits the observation of the relational construction of these two groups of actors, in a specific relationship with social sciences. A reconciliation between the two groups would involve a recombining of their inter-groupal global relations
