Abstract

Attraverso la lettura dell’episodio del dottor du Boulbon che troviamo all’interno della Recherche nelle pagine dei Guermantes, questo saggio mette in rilievo l’importanza e l’ambivalenza dei rapporti che Marcel Proust ebbe sia con i medici e la medicina in generale, sia con gli psichiatri e la psicologia in particolare.Through the reading of Dr. du Boulbon’s episode, which we find inside the Recherche in the Guermantes pages, this essay highlights the importance and ambivalence of the relationships that Marcel Proust had both with doctors and medicine in general, both with psychiatrists and psychology in particular.
