Knowledge of War and Peace as an Element of World View

Abstract

The two concepts "war" and "peace" and the two sets of social phenomena underlying them exercise a profound influence on the minds of men and on their historical destiny. Therefore, it is natural for everyone to think about these phenomena in one way or another, to try to understand their nature, essence, and role in history and, in the final analysis, to come to some conclusions about the possibility and means of preventing war and attaining a firm peace on earth
