Abstract
"The book seeks to make a range of new materialist concepts accessible to researchers in the social sciences, and to work those theoretical possibilities through data of various kinds drawn from both the author's research and autoethnographic experiences, This project works at the interface of writing-as-inquiry and the rich seam of conceptual possibilities in Deleuze, Barad, and new materialist philosophy. The powers of action, locution and thought are entangled and emergent in new materialist inquiry. They can be difficult for researchers to mobilize in their own thinking, talking and action. This book will offer a bridge between the thinking and the doing of new materialist inquiry"--
