Abstract

Resumo: O republicanismo viveu um renascimento no séc. XVIII, no movimento de negação do absolutismo. A imagem da Polis clássica foi mobilizada pelos revolucionários franceses contra o despotismo e a corrupção do Antigo Regime. Após a queda dos jacobinos, tem início entre os entusiastas da revolução uma reflexão sobre os motivos do fracasso da revolução em realizar a república democrática. Hegel faz uma reflexão sobre o anacronismo jacobino de tentar instaurar a república antiga nas condições modernas, mas não se contenta com as soluções liberais e mobiliza a tradição republicana na sua crítica às insuficiências das teorias contratualistas. Para o jovem Marx, Hegel, em sua Filosofia do Direito, não realiza seu projeto de Estado ético . Marx critica a solução hegeliana, mas permanece fiel ao projeto que relaciona república e reconciliação. Este projeto exigiria a crítica teórica e prática das bases materiais que impediriam a reconciliação real que realizaria o Estado ético. Nessa reconstrução, a realização da república democrática é deslocada para o campo do comunismo.Palavras-chave: republicanismo - democracia - Hegel - Marx.: Republicanism has seen a renaissance in the eighteenth century, in the moment of denial of the absolutism. The classic image of the polis was mobilized by the french revolutionaries against despotism and corruption of the Old Regime. After the fall of the Jacobins, begins among the enthusiasts of the revolution a reflection on the reasons for the failure of the revolution in bringing about democratic republic. Hegel makes a reflection on the Jacobin anachronism of trying to bring the ancient republic under modern conditions, but not satisfied with the liberal solutions, Hegel mobilize Republican tradition in his critique of the weaknesses of contractarian theories. For the young Marx, Hegel in his Philosophy of Right, does not carry his own project of ethical state . Marx criticizes the Hegelian solution, but remains faithful to the project that connects the republic and reconciliation. This project would require theoretical and practical critique of the material bases that would prevent the real reconciliation that would be realized in the ethical state. In this reconstruction, the creation of democratic republic is shifted to the field of communism
