Abstract

According to Dr. Haridas Chaudhuri, former president of the California Institute of Asian Studies, consciousness is the essential structure of the human psyche. It is the common denominator of all the levels of the human psychic structure. Consciousness is the essential structure of human reality. All that we do outside of ourselves in our human relations, social activities, or building up social, political and international structures, is ultimately determined by the dynamics of the human psyche.
