The Republic of Moldova between Neutrality and NATO Membership Status

Abstract

One of the controversial issues existing in the foreign policy of the Republic of Moldova is that of the status of permanent neutrality of the state. Despite the new vector of Moldova, aimed at European integration processes in the area, Euro-Atlantic integration problem is virtually missing in the local political discourse. This article reveals some intractable problems referring to the status of The Republic of Moldova permanent neutrality.
