Abstract

All along history until this era, the art have always been interpreted and estimated on a non-aesthetic basis, the art may be esteemed for its social benefits, because it spreads religious beliefs into the human soul, because it makes people better morally or because it is a source of knowledge. Perhaps we realise the value of art in all these aspects, according to its results and not for its essential importance. However, during the nineteenth century, a remarkable trend for the aesthetic importance of art appeared, with new concept coming out, the enjoying of the aesthetic of art for itself and not because it serves religious, moral or social purposes. So, what is this aesthetic vision? And what are their technical characteristics? And what is its purpose?
