Güç istenci öğretisi ve bu öğretinin temel kavramları olan yorum ve perspektivizm, Türkçe Nietzsche literatüründe ihmal edilen ya da yeterince ilgilenilmemiş konulardır. Ancak, bana göre, güç istenci öğretisi ve söz konusu kavramlar olmadan, Nietzsche’nin felsefesinin anlaşılma olanağı yoktur. Güç istenci öğretisi ve bu öğretinin ortaya koyduğu güç mücadelesi, karşımıza kaotik, sürekli değişimin yaşandığı bir evren çıkarmaktadır. Bu değişimin temel dinamiği güç mücadelesidir. Bu güç mücadelesi ise, güç odaklarının bu evrene ilişkin kendi perspektiflerinden oluşturdukları yorum üzerinden gerçekleşmektedir.

-/- Nietzsche’nin doğruluk ve bilgi hakkındaki görüşleri onun felsefesinin en fazla karanlıkta kalmış bölümüdür. Bunun bir nedeni, onun bu görüşlerinin yayımlanmış eserleri ve yayımlanmamış notlarında dağınık bir şekilde bulunmasıdır. Aynı zamanda, Nietzsche’ye göre doğruluk ve bilginin ne anlama geldiğini anlamak için onun güç istenci ve perspektivizm teorilerine de nüfûz etmek gerekir. -/- Birbirine çok sıkı bir şekilde bağlı olan bu kavram ve teorilerden oluşan yapı anlaşıldığında Nietzsche felsefesinin bütününe ilişkin pek çok yanlış anlaşılma ve çarpıtma daha açık bir şekilde (...) gün yüzüne çıkar. Bu nedenle, bu kitap yalnızca felsefeciler için değil, Nietzsche’yi anlamak isteyen tüm okurlar için yararlı bir inceleme niteliğini taşımaktadır. (shrink)

İnsan çok yönlü bir varlıktır ve onun bu çok yönlü oluşu bir açıdan özünde taşıdığı çift kutupların etkin uzantılarıyla açıklanabilir. Doğrusu, çift kutuplu insanda nedenler üzerinden işleyen faktörlerden biri benlik diğeri ise istençtir. İnsanı tanıma girişimlerinde etkin olan benlik ve istenç faktörleri, kişilik çözümlemesi yapan psikologlarca, sıklıkla gündeme getirilir. Benlik ve istenç, içinde insanlığı derinden etkileyen iki deneyim türü olarak savaş ve barışın da bulunduğu pek çok durumu yönlendiren özlere sahiptir. İnsanın çok yönlü oluşu söz konusu edildiğinde, onda, benlikleri harekete (...) geçiren güç istenci, hak istenci ve aşk istenci gibi kimi istençler akla gelebilir. Benlikleri yönlendiren bu istençler, aynı zamanda, savaş ve barış durumu konusunu tartışmada da önemli birer rol üstlenirler. (shrink)

Bu çalışmada Gilles Deleuze’ün Felix Guattari’yle iş birliğinden önce kaleme aldığı eserlere damgasını vuran Nietzsche okumasının anahtar kavramlarına odaklanılmakta ve Deleuze’ün Nietzsche alımlaması ile kendi fark felsefesi arasındaki ilişki açığa çıkartılmaktadır. Deleuze’ün okumasında öne çıkan temalar: Platonculuğun ters yüz edilmesi ve anti-felsefeye çağrı; nihilizmin aşamaları ve ahlaki değerlerin soybilimsel çözümlemesi; güç-istenci ve bedenin bir kuvvetler çokluğu olarak yeniden kavranması ve eleyici bir ilke olan ebedi dönüşün ‘kendinde fark’ı olumlaması şeklinde sıralanabilir. Bu konuların kesiştiği nokta Nietzsche’nin rasyonalizm karşıtlığıdır. Nietzsche, erken (...) dönem metinlerinden Tragedyanın Doğuşu ’nda, ‘Platonik İdea’nın ölü hakikatinin karşısına, kendini daima şeylerin oluşu vasıtasıyla yani görünüşün görünüşünde duyumsanabilir kılan varoluşun ‘ilksel birliğini’ koyar. Deleuze’e göre Nietzsche’nin felsefesi, yaşamın olumlanmasına yönelik anti-Platoncu bir başkaldırı niteliği taşır; çünkü o, “güç-istenci” ve “ebedi-dönüş” kavramları aracılığıyla görünüş dünyasına içkin dinamik ve yaşamsal ilkeleri, geleneksel felsefenin özne, özdeşlik ve temsil gibi kurgularına karşı savunur. Bu açıdan Deleuze, Nietzsche’nin güç istenci düşüncesini, bedeni ve dünyayı kuvvetlerin karşılıklı ilişkileri bağlamında yeniden yorumlamamıza olanak veren bir yaklaşım olarak değerlendirir. Ebedi dönüş öğretisi ise, bir yandan varoluşa içkin yazgıyı olumlayan, diğer yandan nihilist değerleri eleyen kozmolojik dönüşün şiirsel bir yorumudur. (shrink)

Friedrich Nietzsche 19. yüzyıl felsefesinde tüm ahlaki ve dinsel inançlara savaş açarak yeni değerler arayan bir filozoftur. Bu eğilimini “Böyle Buyurdu Zerdüşt” isimli eserinde Zerdüşt karakterine yükleyen Nietzsche, Zerdüşt aracılığıyla bütün dinsel inançların çöktüğünü ve geleneksel ahlaki değerlerin yıkıldığını haber verip, insanları bağlı oldukları inançlardan kurtarmaya çalışan bir yeryüzü peygamberi portresi çizmiştir. Nietzsche’nin değerlerin altüst edilişinin simgesi ve sözcüsü olan Zerdüşt günümüz dinlerinin peygamberinden oldukça farklı bir yol çizmektedir. Nietzsche Zerdüşt üzerinden sadece değerlerin ters yüz edilmesini ve yıkılmasını savunmakla kalmaz (...) aynı zamanda bu yıkımın üzerine yeni bir değer sistemi oluşturmaktan da söz etmektedir. Fakat hitap ettiği kitle henüz buna hazır değildir. Bunun için insanın üstinsan mertebesine geçmesi gerekecektir. Bu çalışmadaki amacımız Nietzsche’nin üstinsan tasavvuru ile güç istemi ilişkisini “Böyle Buyurdu Zerdüşt” özelinde tartışmaktır. Ancak çalışmanın hacmi dar olacağından hedefimiz öncellikle güç istemi ekseninde yoğunlaşarak bu istem üzerindeki kutsallığı analiz etmek olacaktır. (shrink)

Knowledge in turn trades the singular for generality, e.g. beautiful things for beauty. Because what it seeks is nowhere to be found in the world, such philosophy has located pure in-itself-ness in the beyond of (...) metaphysics, reducing life to metabolism, a shuttling between the extrema of lack and satiety. The Chinese language, because it lacks morphological markers, an imperative mood, and a verb ‘to be’, sidesteps ontology (being-thought) and thus hints at a more fruitful perspective on living, elucidating the notion of ex-istence as a way to provide an exteriority from which to examine living, in all its immediacy, without recourse to any metaphysical beyond. Dans cette fin de l'histoire s'établit ta démocratie véritable, celte qui garantit à chacun, parle droit, les conditions pour advenir à son individualité. Une démocratie délivrée de tous démons de démocratie directe et confirmée dans sa vérité de démocratie représentative par l'acceptation résolue du capitalisme. Telles sont les conséquences politiques que doit tirer aujourd'hui ta philosophie, si du moins elle ne se contente pas, avec ta pensée contemporaine depuis Kierkegaard, de poser l'existence ; de surcroît elle pose l'inconscient qui en est le principe. Car ta seule affirmation de l'existence a voué la philosophie à une contradiction radicale incarnée dans ce penseur si problématique qu'est Carl Schmitt. Et elle a débouché, à travers le projet de révolution anticapitaliste, sur tes horreurs du totalitarisme lumineusement décrites par Hannah Arendt. La philosophie ne peut résoudre une telle contradiction qu'en affirmant l'inconscient : cet inconscient créateur par lequel est assumé, autant qu'il est possible, le refus foncier de l'existence - la pulsion de mort. Frederick Douglass's socio-political narrative is explored through an existential lens, arguing that Douglass is contesting the proposition that essence precedes existence. Douglass, through his fight with Covey, a white 'slave breaker', and his escape to freedom, affirms his ex-istence (etymologically, 'standing out') as being for it-self (pour-soi) over and against the reduction of his existence to that of being in-itself (an-soi). Drawing from the work of Simone de Beauvoir, who was greatly influenced by the phenomenological and politico-praxic work of Black (...) novelist Richard Wright, it is argued that Douglass disrupts the power/knowledge regime of white American slavery, exercising his existential capacity for transcendence. Examining whiteness as a species of what Beauvoir calls 'the serious man', it is argued that whites within Douglass's text are in a state of flight, performing their whiteness as 'the serious man', that is, where whiteness is accepted as an unconditioned state of being. Douglass's narrative depicts whiteness as a flight from freedom (bad faith); for his very act of protestation against whiteness demonstrates that whiteness is not an objective, hypostatized thing, but a performative choice that sustains white hegemony.
