Are the ideas of democracy and isonomy an absolute achievement of civilization, or just a tuning moment in a complex system of metamorphosis? Is this something universal or an aesthetic approach? Could our concept of art, in its deepest sense, be responsible for democracy? Or, could our concept of democracy exist because of art? This paper is a reflection on these questions. Normally, a scientific text should give answers but would this principle be universal? Inside our planetary metamorphosis all values (...) are changing as always but now at high speed. High speed gives us both the sensation of confusion, which was typical in other historical moments, as when Carmina Burana was elaborated in the Middle Ages, and the possibility to take a step back and have, in the eye of the cyclone, dynamic elements showing us change in process. Lachen ist eine alltägliche und doch zugleich rätselhafte Erscheinung. In ihr verbirgt sich ein tieferer Sinn, der sich bei näherem Hinsehen mit dem von Religion deckt. Das ist den meisten Menschen kaum bewusst. Lachen hebt den Widerspruch, der sich im Komischen zeigt, auf eine höhere Ebene. Es löst den Widerspruch nicht auf, aber stellt ihn mit Wohlwollen in den Zusammenhang eines umfassenden Ganzen, wobei Negatives, auch das Leid, darin eingeschlossen wird. Als Leitmotiv der in diesem Buch durchgeführten Auseinandersetzung mit Denkern (...) der Geschichte und Gegenwart dient die originelle Eschatologie Dantes in der Göttlichen Komödie, insbesondere das Lachen der Beatrice. Dostojevskis 'Idiot' Fürst Myshkin wird als Narr um Christi willen untersucht. Themen wie Karneval, das Osterlachen, der Narr, Drolerien, die Carmina burana und das Narrenschiff werden u. a. behandelt. (shrink)

The article is devoted to the question of the categories of the epic as part of the theoretical paradigm of contemporary musicology. It is proven that nowadays there are many books, magazines and articles about the epic genre of music. The concept of a soundtrack that appeared in the 1950s is highlighted of XX century. The compilation of songs “Carmina Burana”, which became the reason for the appearance of the music for the trailers was investigated. It has been established (...) that since the 90s of the XX century, the first companies that were engaged in the creation of music for trailers began to appear - “Globus” and “Inmediate Music”. It is determined that the first studio album of the group “Globus” was “Epicon”. It is noted that video games belong to epic music. It has been studied that epic soundtracks are most often used in video games with the plot of war, confrontation and battles. It is noted that Jeremy Soule, who gained fame thanks to the game series “Elder Scrolls” and “Harry Potter” is the most famous composer of orchestral music video games. The importance of music is emphasized for the video games of the famous American composer Garry Schyman. Emphasis is placed on the talented works of German instrumentalist Hans Zimmer. It is noted that the music is epic and cinematic. Samples of the musical epic of Ukrainian composers are highlighted. Explored Japanese anime style animation. Revealed that talented artists receive the MTV Video Music Awards every year. (shrink)
