Abstract

This article discusses the possible consequences of the decentralization process in the system of higher education in Ukraine. The attention to possible hidden privatization of public universities in the direction of education. Focused look at the realities of higher education, compared with the peculiarities of the society of the middle ages. It indicated a signifiant gulf opportunities and revenues university leaders and their subordinates. Displaying the lack of dialogue between the leaders of Ukrainian educational sphere and ordinary teachers. Taken into account foreign experience regarding autonomy, which proves that it was premature, if education is not defeated by the phenomenon of corruption. It proved the importance of reforming the higher education sector in the light of the global context of global change.
