Abstract

O bispo inglês Robert Grosseteste é um dos nomes mais importantes da ciência no século XIJI. O tema da 'luz' merece um tratamento especial. por parte deste autor, de quem se diz que desenvolveu uma verdadeira "metafisica da luz", que permitiu a passagem de Platão para Aristóteles, no que se refere à ciência natural.
