Abstract

For Heidegger, questioning is the essential expression of human being. Authentic questioning is inquiry into the nature of questioning itself, as the self-unveiling projective happening of Being. Genuine involvement with Heidegger's own interrogative journey necessitates grasping his vision of the Being-event and, then, releasing his thought into the projective power of its possibilities through a continuation of radical self-questioning that moves beyond him. ;Heidegger's raising of the question of Being ultimately brings us face to face with ourselves as the revelatory self-questioning of Being itself, its discharge into temporal self-gathering. Unsaid in his interrogative project, however, is that Being itself is ontological intentionality. Furthermore, if Heidegger's vision of the Being-event is set free to admit the primordial intersubjectivity of Nature to which human being essentially belongs and within which it transceptually functions, then the horizon of Being in its intentional wholeness and fundamental interrelationality comes to the fore. ;In asking the question of Nothing, Heidegger discloses the no-thingness of Being as it nihilatingly ex-propriates itself in the presencing of beings. Although stipulating that the nothingness of Being itself is not privative, nihil negativum, he himself is unable to dispel the spectre of negative nothingness indicative of metaphysical thinking because of his presupposing Nature to be non-ex-sistent. By authentically enduring in Angst inquiry into the nothingness of Being, we are able to prehend the transceptual nature of its essential no-thingness. ;Ultimately, through our endurance, we can dissipate all the illusory veils of nihil negativum to behold the true heart of reality, the positivity of absolute negativity as primordial power. Nihil Ipsum is not Being itself, but Absolute Nothing as it comes forth nihilatingly as Sein's no-thingness in its thinging. ;Primordialization of Heidegger's questioning of God leads us to understand faith's endurance of Angst as that alone which is capable of disclosing the depths of reality in their wholeness . Faith in its unveiling perduring power is shown to be Agapic releasement to the holy nihilation of God as Absolute Nothing. Agape, kenotic nihilation, is the communion dynamic of the life of Divinity in which we share
