Abstract

Digital technologies have infiltrated in every corner of the metropolis, in our homes, workplaces and leisure centers, approaching our bodies with a “naturalized” intimacy. This means that both cities and bodies have been transformed into interconnected interfaces. This paper aims to investigate some of the details of this question in order to call attention to the potential for semiotic analysis that is implied in these human-machine interfaces.
