Abstract
The primary objective of this chapter is to determine why unethical behavior occurs within organizations. Through the findings and documents of organizations across the world, the study shows clear evidence and an explanation for unethical conduct. The central reasoning for this behavior to happen is the product of poor leadership and narcissism of the leader, leading to unattainable goals, discrimination, and cultural numbness. The review posits a model of such unethical behavior. This model can be used for future research, but it can also prove beneficial for organizations to learn about and eliminate unethical behavior. The outcome of this research needs to be incorporated and discussed more frequently among the workforce in order to see improvement.
