Abstract

This paper has already been published on Rhuthmos.eu in April 2012.: This article is based on the “experience” of a reading of Henri Lefebvre's Rhythmanalysis. The third chapter of this book deals with the observations Lefebvre made of the rhythms of the street in which he lived in Paris, Rue Rambuteau. The article first comments on the role and the meaning of rhythmanalytical observation, in order to compare it with the experience of the same street today.
